If I were to talk in a room with some people, it'd probably be a calm discussion. But here in the forums it's like no place on Earth. You can be insulted, really harshly, when you haven't insulted anyone. Kicking people in seems to be a rule here, not an exception. I think it's because people feel they can hide behind forums, and if they've had a bad day, they can take it out on anyone here.

Yes, I share this observation with you. I hope no one attacks you for making your comment. Sniff SNIFF ( :+))

I have a self imposed rule about posting. Never say anything in the forums that I wouldn't say to a person IRL.

There are too many trolls/cowards with chips on their shoulders who hide behind the anonymity of the forum.

no the forums do not disgust me.

But it dose annoy me when people post random stuff in threads stared by the lindons. Like the lindons ask for info concerning the steel objects bug. And then there are 3 pages of posts unrelated to the issue. . That doesn't really bother me, it's the concern that sl may be so big as one day that'll be 30 or a 100 pages of random posts. And because of all that noise the lindons no longer come to the forums to ask questions, But instead contact specific groups of people in game. And those people end up controlling what the lindons see and hear.
