What if it was Chaos? Or someone that lurks mostly but posts on occasion? None of us are entitled to special treatment. I certainly wouldn't seek that for myself if I wanted to sell - and at one point last year, I did, and put it elsewhere.

Good luck Marcel. I am very sad to see you selling out. I hope the personal matters you are facing are resolved soon. I know it is not a light decision to sell out and lord knows you have worked your butt off to make the place a success.

Half of the topics in RA do not belong here. Some of you who think my thread does not belong here, I saw advertising shameless in the Never ending Thread. So tell me how much different that is? Some people live to complain it seems, without understanding that they are as off-topic as the OP was.

On the other hand, I do not care anymore. People interested in buying my business, are welcome to contact me. People who want to complain about this thread, be my guest. Have fun with it.

Sicne the average sales in the last few months is around 25K, I would estimate around 75K. With the total package (ready furniture plus materials to make more) there is a lot of potential, I just do not have the time.

I do think that the "shouldn't post it here" posts are technically correct, but out of order. There are RA regulars who I think ought to be given every assistance if/when they leave SL, simply because of the value they have been here, and the RA sub-forum is the place to get the most exposure for selling up.

Marcel is a direct competitor of mine, and he's selling a business that is intended to continue competing with me, but he is always a calm voice in the sometimes troubled froum waters, and that has been a great value in the RA forum. Imo, it is so much better to help a person in this way than not to - and that's from a direct competitor.

I do not know marcel, so can not speak for his character

the only problem I have with the "we should allow this one or that one" is, everyone will do it

while I do wish marcel all the best with his RL, and hopefully he will not have to sell and can keep his SL business, I do have to say that technically he should not have posted it here

I would hate to have to sell my SL business, but if it ever came to that, I would not post it here, I know if I did, the type of response would not be good

I know some folks feel that those of us who say it should not have been put here, think we are being mean to marcel, but that is not the case.

I just would like to see things on an even setting for everyone, if it is ok for one, then it should be ok for all

(someone mentioned how would people react if it were say, chaos who posted he was selling his business, or let's say selling his city)

sometimes one has to put their feelings aside, and think without emotion (I know I know, I am a good one to be saying that)

I think emotionally way too much, and I know I do it, I need to not do it (it causes more angst and confusion within one's self than anything, and it is hard to change that way of thinking)

I saw the question about Chaos. I haven't really got used to him, so I don't know his character. But an event like leaving SL and hoping to sell a business to take some money away, is so rare that the place isn't likely to be flooded with such threads. It's not like starting a business and selling it once it's got on its feet, and staying in SL - maybe to do the same again. It's not that sort of thing. It's someone leaving SL completely, and hoping to take a few hundred dallars on the way out. It is techincally against the RA rules, but it's not likely to open any flood gates, and it's a good thing to accept - even for people like Chaos and me

You have mentioned every single product you ever made or project you have been involved in COUNTLESS times on these forums. You even made a thread about your friend's baby dolls! Damn, you have a lot of nerve.

I'd think twice about selling the full perms lfox textures and the B&B animations, unless you've gotten an ok from Lauren Fox and Craig Altman. It's most likely against the license agreement to sell them on like that.

hmmmim kind of interested...but what i dont understand is...how the permissions would work and how you would be able to make it water tight ie: I pay for example 75k but you might still have everything in your inventory to re-sell-sell again...use if you return...etc..

I dont know you..so i have no idea of your integrity...and really who can trust who here...is there a way of making it legal & binding? or is just a gentlemans agreement?

To be honest, I would not know wether this could be done legally, as that would probably cost more then the business itself The least I can do anyway, is revealing my RL data, so you would know I am not some anonymous scammer. Since I do have payment info on file, LL also knows who I am of course.

Now I can promise you to delete my account after the transfer (all would be transferred full permission to you), but it is a matter of trust that I will. Even if I ever decide to return, it will not be with this account anyway.

If youre inworld this evening we can discuss the options of course.
