Linden Lab individually investigates the circumstances of every Abuse
Report we receive. Following a careful review of our server records and
logs, we have determined that your recent actions violated the Second Life
Community Standards or Terms of Service. The violation in question occurred
on July 14, 2006 in the region of .
Violation: Forum Suspension: Spamming, Trolling, Flaming
We value an open environment in which residents feel free to
express themselves, even when their views may not be
popular.
From time to time we find we need to take disciplinary
action on the Second Life Forums, when someone is
determined after careful review to have violated either the
Second Life Community Standards of the Terms of Service.
Violation: Spamming, Trolling, Flaming
We believe in an honest and open free exchange of ideas,
and in always maintaining a respect for the opinions and
positions of other people. However, Flaming (posting a
message that is intended to incite anger or directly attack
a person or persons), Spamming (multiple posts of the same
topic or discussion), and Trolling (a post with an
intentionally contrary opinion written with the intent of
inciting or getting argumentative opinions) are not allowed
in the Second Life Forums.
You have been suspended from Second Life and the SL Forums
for seven (7) days and will not be able to access the
forums or Second Life.
Starting an inflammatory poll about other Residents.
The rules of conduct are interpreted with the broadest meaning possible.
Discipline
As a result of this violation, your Second Life account is
being temporarily suspended for a period of 7 days. It will
return to active status on Monday, Jul 24, 2006.
Recourse
If you believe that this notice has been sent in error, or that the
details of this incident have not been adequately examined, please address
your concerns in an email to [email]abuse-manager@lindenlab.com[/email]
We will not disclose the identity of Residents who file Abuse Reports.

Anyways, it seems like the moral to the story is, if you're the victim of mistaken moderation, simply submit an email that will never be acknowledged to [email]abuse-manager@lindenlab.com[/email]. From there, grow frustrated and take the issue to the resmod forum, where the resmod will not acknowledge the mistake or apologize. From there start a poll, which violates the ToS to highlight the on-going poor moderation of this resmod. This time you get a ban that's deserved. Yet the rub is that it builds upon the previous unjustified ban. The total time away is 10 days. Time actually deserved is just 3 days. At LL, that's called "customer service". OMG!!11! I'm turning into a teenage griefer that's venting in the forums. OMG it wasn't even my push gun! LOL!!!1! ~Ulrika~

A particular individual was banned for harassing me. So he logged in his alt and continued to harass me until his alt got suspended as well. This individual has been suspended on 4 separate occassions for harassing me alone. And on several occassions for harassing others. Well don't worry. I was suspended too for revealing personal information about that particular person who was suspended 4 times for harassing me. Kinda stupid, seeing how if LL had just banned the person after the 3rd suspension I wouldnt have ever gotten around to getting myself in trouble defending myself.
