Thought this might be a fun little game.. Sort of like, "I know someone whose friends uncle used to work with someone whose brother saw Britney Spears once!!" For SL Heres mine.. Below is a picture of my VERY old mall in SL.. On the left hand side of the photo you will see 3 stalls, the middle of which, is occupied by the one and only, Anshe Chung So my claim to fame is Anshe Chung used to rent from ME! Whats yours?

From: Zapoteth Zaius Whats yours? I'm still trying to find mine. I think maybe it's hiding in my inventory in a folder that I incorrectly labeled. I would search for fame, but it has so many other names, like celebrity, notoriety, renown, reputation, prominence, eminence, etc. I could look for a very long time and never find mine!

Of the things I'm willing to mention ... in public, in the forum, I'd have to say they'd have to do with some of the events I've hosted on my land and/or on RadioRadio, we've had some doozies!
One was for SL's 1st post beta-birthday, Haney Linden asked if I'd have a party, and apparently LL was looking in!
Helping the RFL Cancer benefit in 2005 was an honor and a lotta fun!
Participating in the 100 hour round the clock "Last DJ Standing" marathon New Year's 2005 (this is pre-RadioRadio) was amazing, thanks to Trinity's too cool idea.

In 88 i appeared on "Left Right and Centre", a scottish politics show, I was a union rep at the time, and was invited to hear expelled liverpool councillor Tony Mulhearn speak. As the reporter interviewed him, i was standing behind him, just to his left, so I got on TV

I've been on the cover of many mainstream magazines and tens of thousands of people have seen me naked. Today I live a much simpler life. As for SL, I don't think I am noteworthy at all. I once thought I was the first to attach a cabin to my head but alas, I wasn't. My claim to fame is probably quietly knowing more about you than you know about me.

I startled Tim Robbins twice in the same year. Once by being with with a group of friends (pro dominatrixes talking a bit too loudly about their trade when Tim came in for a breakfast meeting (the Dommes were just off work and drinking!)) and another time by walking around a corner singing to myself fairly exhuberantly (yes out loud, but it was 6am and noone was around. In Manhattan nothing but Wall Street opens before 10) and anyway, I rounded the corner as Tim did going in opposite directions and I suppose I was as startled as he was. He was startled by this mad singing woman at 6am and I was startled by--well Tim Robbins! i mean... how dreamy is he? (Almost as dreamy as Jinx. heh.)
My other claim to fame was annoying Wendy Wasserstein but that's another story . . .
*edit (GAH! I just realized you meant claim to fame in sl. umm. nvm. ... O wait, I was asked to pose nude once by a well-known SL photographer. But I bet she says that to all the goils. (I didn't, btw.))
Other claim to fame: more parentheses use than any other forum poster! (Don't you think?)

I once met Robert Mitchum, who was waiting in line in front of me at an ATM. I told him I was a huge fan of his work, and he said "Kid, you're too young, you shouldn't even know who I am". I said that my favorite film of his was The Friends of Eddie Coyle, and his eyes got really wide and said " nobody has seen that, but I always liked it too. Thanks, you really made my day!" Imagine that, I meet Robert Mitchum, and he thinks I made HIS day?

I have met Michael Tippett, and once interviewed Olivier Messiaen. I think that's *fantastic*, but the trouble is not many other people will.
