It being closed in the first place was a mistake, and Torley's original decision to keep it closed was wrong.
Why? Because you cannot impersonate a Linden.
Not like, "You cannot do it, so don't it..." It's more like .. it's impossible to impersonate a Linden. In-world or in the forums.
Last name not Linden? ... Uh... Not a Linden. The response to all the AR reports should have been "Look at the poster's last name, dolt."
But Torley, in his infinite wisdom (i.e., P.R. stunt), wisely reopened it to further his image as champion of the masses. I rarely see difinitive answers from Torley in these forums, but I know that's what he was hired to do, and I'm not even sure he realizes it. He's the distraction, the flash bomb that "everyone loves" so if he answers every single Second Life Answers post with some antidote from his personal life or wise observation from his fairy tale journey through SL, people will smile and forget the problems they are having with SL.
You want humor in these forums? Go back and re-read the Linden posts promising Havok, improved performance and HTML on a prim.
