The purpose of that thread that you got all wound up over was to gain some knowledge of what area of the US would be most likely suited for a SL convention here in the US. If non-US reidents choose to travel to attend, that would be great, but not asking for their location is hardly reason to imply that someone is "another stupid American", unless one has a predilection for prejudice against Americans.

Let me ask you, if SL were based in England, and several Americans made it their business to interject snide little comments about Brits here and there, would you just sit there quietly at your keyboard?
