I can't believe I missed that! ![]() Well, you've just cinched it. I'm going to open a restaurant built onto a slaughter house. Let the customer pick their favorite cow. Our friendly "Death Techs" will have your meat to you. ![]() Or we can just bring you the live cow and a fork. On second thought, screw the fork and just grab a hunk with your sharp pointy teeth. I typically order my beef like this 'Awww hon just knock off the horns and wipe its butt'. _____________________

Eel is good. Uni is terrible. Ack, I can't eat eel. I tried it once in Germany. They would smoke them and eat them at festivals. Stiff and crunchy and yuck. _____________________

Ack, I can't eat eel. I tried it once in Germany. They would smoke them and eat them at festivals. Stiff and crunchy and yuck. That's your problem right there: You tried it once in Germany (granted that's not anywhere near as bad as saying "I tried it once in England" . If you eat meat, go order unagi at a Japanese place. Trust me. It's so soft, it's like eating butter in the shape of meat._____________________

What, no goat? LOL!!! Actually the oddest thing I ate in Belize was tree rat. About the size of a hamster and tasted like a good grade of pork. After you put enough hot spices on something though, I mean I could have been eating a boot. I passed on Iguana because they are endangered and still trapped wild.It was more difficult trying new fruits and veggies. Even though the official language is English, most of the women in the market spoke Spanish. Asking about how to prepare a new food was always an adventure. Casava for instance takes special preparation if you're making it from the root. Casava pudding is yummy with coconut and ginger, but a lot of work to make. Tapioca is made from casava roots if you want something to compare it to...but no lumps since what I ate was made from the flour. _____________________

I would say that yes, the life of a plant has less value than the life of an animal. Thanks for that, Seifert. I'm sitting here skimming through the forums and one of my ferns was reading over my shoulder and saw your comment. Now my fern is wilting and I blame you. I'll be sending the bill for the ferns therapy sessions and Miracle Grow booster drip. _____________________

Quick, get it over to the ID/evolution thread, I'm sure that's evidence of something or other. _____________________
