Wow. There was a time I would rejoice this news but that time has passed. Ulrika, we have had our heated battles and both gone too far defending our respective viewpoints. For the longest time I really disliked you and for me, that is very unusual. I harbored hurt feelings over my involvement in Neualtinburg but in the end that hurt me, not you.

As you know we buried the hatchet recently and I couldn’t be more happy that we did. You were once part of the reason I left the forums for a time but those feelings finally disappeared when we made nice and agreed to let the past lie for good. I know that even then we agreed that we would never be buddies and hang out but ya know what? In a strange way even though we are advisories on many fronts, I do consider you a friend. You are part of my SL family and, don’t tell anyone, but I care about you and will miss you.

I know that you will cringe at this being that you don’t believe in God but with respect, I pray that God bless you and your family through this decision that you have made. May you continue growing over time and find the inner piece and happiness you are looking for. You will know why this is funny but the last words I want to write to you are this, “huggs you”.

Ok, I'm not a betting man, but I want to offer a bet. Just for fun.

I'll bet $L500 that she will not leave permanently. If I lose the bet I'll pay the person betting $L500, but if I win the loser will pay me only $L50.

That 10/1 odds.

To win, simply be the first to take the offer. We both will give the money to an honest 3rd party, such as any of the regular posters to this thread. And if she actually leaves and doesn't return for one month, the winner takes my $L500.

If she posts or is found to be posting with an alt, I get $L50.

In other word, I don't believe she is actually going to leave. The reason I believe this is she has said in the past she would leave Naultenburg, but never did. I think it's a safe bet from my perspective.

So.... anyone game?

I'm pretty sure she's not anywhere near these forums right now to read this but just in case she is, this won't help any.

We all have our moments. Quite frankly I was just as disappointed when Kurgan quietly disappeared from these forums - though I don't generally agree with either Ulrika or Kurgan (few know my real opinions) these are still losses that diminish our world.

Incidentally, I'm dead sure I know a lawful way to get her back in - though I'm not sure I should. Her reasons for leaving were fairly clear and logical.
