Ok I've had enough, who or what number can I call or who can I contact to get this rolling. It says within five days a request will be reviewed and being a 1 day resident for trading limits for a week is crazy! mcgeed, I hate to tell you this but getting LL to respond to a limit increase is almost impossible these days. The last one I got was requested in early December and was only granted in late January after repeated calls to LL. I requested another one in late Febuary and after repeated calls in late March was told it was denied but also told to contact the same people who never respond for an explaination. I'm still waiting for an explaination and am 2 weeks into a further increase request since they haven't explained why the last one was denied. By the end of April I plan to call LL every day until the either grant the increase or give me an explaination why I can't get it. I have maxed out my limit every month since late February and must wait for the 30 waiting period to expire from a previous trade to trade again. It is a huge pain in the ass and that is what I'm telling LL the next time I call. |

I don't even want an increase, I just need the standard resident trading limit of being able to sell $5,000 a month, like I'll ever hit that, but I'm stuck on a day 0-1 resident and can't even sell Lindens. I can buy 10 dollars worth. Lol. This isn't just asking for a increase, this is asking to be normal again. lol. |

Indeed, this isn't like any other request for an increase, this is request to fix something that is *broken*, i.e., dramatically decreasing our trading limits from the normal Level 1 to a 0-1 day resident (US$10 sell and US$0 buy).
And since this is not an increase request but a *bug* they should have responded far earlier than they "nornal" 5 business days, considering that many residents are having the same problem since last weekend. |

Count me as another 4 month member whose limits have regressed to that of being a sub-27 day newbie.
Daily email requests since last Friday have yielded nothing but automated replies. No acknowledgment that there is a problem, or that they plan to attempt to remedy it. I am unable to perform any Lindex transactions. It is really, truly, absolutely astounding how abysmal the service is with Linden Labs. This is something that should be brought to media attention, when they tout how rapidly Second Life is reportedly growing. _____________________

Call # 1-800-961-6851 that is the only way I ever get anything done anymore. Keep calling until you finally get a human and tell them the problem that is really a crippling bug.

In the mean time, if you really need to sell your L$ you could try using a different site like ige or slexchange
and seriously how did this even happen? |

I assume there's currently a lack of support staffs in LL, insufficient of ability, excess of workload. i have submitted several requests, only got one response for almost 10 days.
Maybe they're not letting anybody sell L$ because they need to straighten out the economy or something _____________________

How difficult can it be to type something into the computer and hit "ok"? No t saying that their may be insufficient labor resources there cause there probably is but 6 days now. |

For the 60-70% of the SL residents who don't live in the American continent, calling at "LL business hours" can be a real pain. I stayed awake until 2 am and after 9 unsuccessful calls I gave up. It’s time for LL to realize that the majority of SL residents live oversees now and to establish a 24/7 phone line. Too much to ask, eh? |

Geez, called them and after waiting 7 minutes asked me to leave a voice mail. Why make me wait 7 minutes if all I'm doing is leaving a voice mail. |

This is something that should be brought to media attention, when they tout how rapidly Second Life is reportedly growing. That is as great idea, if this were done i think we would see a rapid improvement in the quality of service (well i hope anyway). Anyone know a reporter? maybe we should contact the reuters reporter and ask him to do a story. _____________________

I assume there's currently a lack of support staffs in LL, insufficient of ability, excess of workload. i have submitted several requests, only got one response for almost 10 days. The quality is suffering too. I got a response back from the support address that was amazingly bad, when reporting the problems I had accessing the beta grid. I thought they ASKED for feedback on people unable to access the beta, but in this letter I was told there is no support for the beta grid to file a bug report in the beta grid (how do you do this when you cannot ENTER IT??) I gave computer details on both my computers, both the XP computer that was unable to enter, and the Vista computer that was able to enter. So he also writes they do not support Vista. HELLO! IT WAS AN XP COMPUTER that could not access the grid! And this gets deployed in less than a week to the main grid. Lovely. If I had written a support mail that BAD when I used to be a tech mail jockey, I would have had the riot act spelled out to me. _____________________

If you dont have the tier usd amount in your SL account, they pull it from your RL bank account.

I know. Im just saying, they take it by "force" or you lose your island. Actually, I dont know how many chances until you get your island taken away.
But, yes its just not right. If they are not allowing ppl to sell lindens right now they need to hold back EVERYONES tier. How stupid can they get. |

You can still pay with your L$, just sell it on slexchange or something, transfer that to paypal or your bank account, and use that money to pay for tier. There's always a work around, it may be annoying but it works |

Edit: I just checked and its a 40 dollar difference on the SLexchange Linden exchange. I'm not selling on there just because LL is asleep and not fixing things. |

Any news on the issue? I'm still at 0-1 newbie level despite the e-mails and the phone calls to the LL support line (well... their voice mail actually).

Perhaps because they write that "This issue duplicates: MISC-127 Billing & trading limits level wrong".
At least they could merge the two issues instead asking me questions like "How do you know it affects many residents?", and "Have you tried calling Linden's support line?" and "What page changed?" and so on. |
