been trying to log in now for 45 minutes.am slightly irritated by the "grid and web page is open" message on the status page

From: Wanda Rich i'm back in, but found i logged in a different place to when i logged out, also wearing clothes i had changed before logging out. I think that's because they did a rollback. Well it's now after midnight and I'm giving up and going to bed. Must say, this SL birthday was a bit of a let down  I know I'm whinging but it's disappointing that one can't get on to play after waiting all week to do so, and even more disappointing that LL can't be bothered to give us a useful update. |

Yes and don't try to call Tech Support either because you will just hear
" SORRY NO ONE is AVAIL RIGHT NOW"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly now this is getting very annoying

I can't log in either. *grumbles* This was my last chance to get on SL before I disappear from the internet for a bit. How is it that the grid can be "up" when this many people are still having issues? >.<;;;;;;
Rawrness. It just stays on the login screen, not even giving me the justice of an error message now. Then it goes to not responding to I have to do the whole end task thing.

anyone think this was a hack attack on SL birthday?
Am remembering a welcome message earlier in the week about anyone planning to disrupt the grid will be reported to the authorities....

I have dined, hearty at the table of the horsemen. I suppose it's possible, but since they took it down for maintenance one would assume, given the grid is now supposedly back up, that we would be able to log in fine now.
