8 Hrs And Counting!!

What the hell I pay 295US a month for and can't get someone to restart my dang Island! Myself and 35 people stranded here can't move, cant log out, cant log in.. and I can't get them to do a restart for me .. 8 HRS!! COMEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...and only crappy little posts on the Blog...this is getting old! ...and we have 82 stuck on our Island...

Is the Restart feature for estate managers and owners of islands disabled?
In the Region/Estate tools dialog you should have a button to restart the island
Not that a restart will help this is asset server related problems not the SIMS
I think anyway.

Yes I know how to restart my Island, kind hard to do when your MAIN is frozen!

you own a car? You pay monthly notes on it? Has it ever had to go to the shop for repairs? Did you whine to the mechanic about how unfair it was you pay a monthly note and couldnt drive your car while he had it in repair?

Be patient, there are asset/database issues, let them fix it. You unfairness ranting wont repair the databse any quicker.

yes Im fully aware of the issues, but they can also be kind and just take the dang game off line to keep people that HAVE NO IDEA what is going on from coming into your sim and bad mouthing because they think your ripping them off...
Understand, these rants are not because of the game issues, its because of how SL is handling the problem!
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

I know we can not rush them, that has been shown in the last 6 hours.....we are on linden time....but it would have been nice to get a tech to reply to my numerous calls/emails in the last day and to have shut down all of SL and posted us a note to let us know what is going on. Thats what is so frustrating, is lack of communication.....

HMMM PRETTY PATHETIC I THINK. sorry for the caps there but Dayum either shut the whole game down until fixed or tell them Door knobs who dont understand english in another language to stop messing with the inventory and stop buying shit so you all lindens can get it fixed or other wise they will just keep on doing what they please.

I Cant Freaking Log On After 100 Freaking Tries. This Really Blows. Ive Never Had This Problem.

the reason why is that your av is still in second life......but you are not. This is my issue. So for those who can not sign on at all, it is likely your av is still in game......my friends have been having much fun with me knowin i am not there.....i think i am now under water from what my friend told me in yahoo.............


so there is NO hope that you will sign on until your av is signed off, and only linden can sign us off if they would SHUT THE REGION DOWN!!!!!!!! and move us out of there.

Ok lets see... I ate twice today, took a shower, wow even vacumm, made the bed ( maybe I should mess that up now) bitched some about SL, running around my Sim pushing people around because I can! They don't know Im doing it hahahh!

I have been playing a long time, and I am with the "car analogy". Second life has grown so fast, I can understand how it's hard to keep everything running smoothly while expanding at this rate... it's an adjustment that we should be helping each other through, rather than yelling at Linden Labs about ( in my opinion).

Also, last night I received numerous announcements from LL on my screen about known issues and it did warn me not to make transactions, or copy things to inventory... etc. It's a bummer.... but I know it will be resolved. I have faith in that because in the past the problems have always been resolved, and yes sometimes it took a while but it's always worth it.

There is never a guarantee when you "press a button to buy something." Heck, theres a hardly a guarantee when you buy something in RL... but I never had anyone at Wal-mart warn me that things might be "off" so be careful.

I give linden labs credit for trying to keep the game open while working out the issues by letting the inworld residents know about the issues, and I hope to be one of the people that spreads an air of support for LL.

I generally find that in business or personal affairs, that more gets accomplished when I am kind, patient, and supportive rather than when I scream at people because I am unhappy about a situation. And even if it doesn't get solved faster... at least i was in a Kind Patient and supportive mood while waiting. THAT is what truly makes the difference!

well, the 28.869 online now may be "ghosts" but the picture is funny on my login screen when I cant' log in for 24 hours.

It leaves some time to play entropia (guess what? IT LAGS TOO!! lol)

That's the problem...27,000 aren't online...most are zoombies...
