The main problem is that this is such a social based world and as the thread starter pointed out, there are friends online who are probably getting sick of waiting for that meeting that wa s arranged earlier, and the last thing that I saw before I crashed for the last time was some geezer flashing me, I nearly shot him, but then i crashed......

This afternoon I managed to get in: No inv, no tp, no search, images of logged of residents all over the place, no friendslist...and I looked like a girl..lol. We would be better of if they just closed the grid till its fixed again. This bit of hope is just too much.

After nearly a year of these problems never getting fixed and poor excuses I went to basic. Not subscribing another penny until LL gets some of these recurring issues cleaned up and I suggest ya'all do the same. Am playing other games and paying more attention to my real life now. Suggest ya all do the same. Good luck!

I have started getting anew error message - after endless failed login attempts with logging out, try again in XXX mins message:
my new message says that it cannot connect and often the problem is my computer clock, to reset it and try again...there is nothing wrong with my clock! It is spot on..sigh.
Anyone else getting clock error messages as a potential reason for login failure??

I'm SO glad i'm not the only one O_o i'm sitting here 10 AM NZST time...

I can't even get those error messages the rest of you are. I try to connect and then BAM gives me that pretty little box at the top left corner of the screen and sl crashes on me. gotta love it

what really cracks me up is that it says 22k+ ppl are online and that the grid status is online.

This is getting stupid and why they cant fix the problem right away its been hours now and its still running like crap and still can't log in ETC ETC ETC .


Get it fixed its been since 7 something and still nothing stop sitting on your lazy asses and get it fixed !

i do know that sometime last night my friend logged out to reboot and tried to log back in and couldn't. Guess on the time would be like midnight'ish sl time. could have been later, hard to remember. but who knows whats going on, never got a system message saying they were locking out logins, or anything to that effect in SL or on the blogs. btw just on a off topic question. i got an email from someone saying they were from sl but it wasn't an sl offline message. the person emailed me directly. just have no clue how they got my email address lol

Im sure the Lindens are doing the best they can, its not in their interest to have these problems. Appreciate the fact that they have given us the best game ever. And look forward to much more fun and technical advances.
I cant wait to get back in, but im not going to blame anyone.

technical advances? maybe do some bug tracking first and then advance... I'm starting to get really annoyed. Got a meeting with my builders, a deadline to meet, have to assign tasks and I can't login. Not to mention the trading limit and the "no answer" to that to any support request and other things. I'm glad we didn't get that island for the moment or I would be well pissed off if I read posts like "We're trying to get this sim rebooted since 8 hours".

well i finally got in, did the plum trick, sent me to another sim and just tp'ed home

Why not blame them after all its the platform they asked us to join when they told us all the wonderful things we could do in sl so they could get ourhard earned bucks. So if you do not tell the whole truth about your product then accept the blame when your faulty product falls over.

I don't understand why they can't have a chat room where live tech support people hang out and let us all know what's going on and answer our questions. You can't get any answers by email or phone soooooo, wouldn't it make sense to use this venue to calm the natives down a bit??? Gesh!

Gosh, they say they are investigating? what is there a team of 2 people?!! Do a damn rolling restart or some crap! It was like this yesterday, geee I wonder what the problem is...lets work on it for hours as its obvious they have no idea what the problem is and are still looking for it or still trying to fix it. I agree its a nice day off today, at least tell people what the issue is and not "oh gee theres a problem," how original as if we all didn't already know!
