CANT LOG IN?? is it just me???

I have been trying to log in for the last 3 hours. I just sit there, then i get the message i need to retry in XXX minutes. So i retry, nada. Then ill get a message stating Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong..please check___________ anouncements forum to see if there is a known problem with the servie. I signed on at 8am this morning, couldnt see my skin, only my hair, shoes and jewelry.....told a few i would be back through ims after i got my coffee, logged off and CANT GET BACK ON!!!!

I cleared my cache, reinstalled , rebooted, nada. I called SL, got the leave a message after holding for 6 minutes. I sent a EMAIL, still no reply. I am extremely frustrated. Yes this is a game, but i had plans this AM with some individuals, who i can tell are ONLINE along with 9,000000 others.....AM I THE GUINEA PIG player????? I am very torked right now.

What is going on?????????? Is anyone else having this issue??????

i can sympathise - you are not the only one - i managed to log on to sl - started to work then got the - cant upload textures problem so went to relog realising i had crashed after only 20 mins in the game - and now i cant log in - as its impossible to work after 12 sl time anyway due to the amount online , im not going to get anything done at all by the look of it.

You are not the only one. I have not been able to get in either.

OHHHH GOOD, lol, im always glad to hear it is not just me having this issue....... I cant beleive i would sit on this chair for 3 hours trying to figure this out! I must be SL addicted I really HOPE they figure this out soon, with 9,00000000000 people logged in *hiopefully they are all techs* you would think this would be figured out soon.........I feel like im paying for something I cant use when i need to use it.....

HURRY UP and fix it..im itching to get back on!!!

ah im so glad LL made this place so boring with futures noone asked for, its not even fun anymore, keep promesing new futures and fixes LL you sure never make them "fixed" for long, yawwn

i had that trouble to i gave up and went to bed i thought they wd have fixed it by now, last night they had trouble to

they didnt even send a notice out,
why cant they tell us when we can acturally get in and play?

Last time I was able to log my balance of over 9.000L$ would not show in the top right either.

So they'll take our money right now, but won't let us get anywhere near the gameplay?

That's like the BBC coming round to my house and demanding that i buy a TV liscence even if I didn't own a TV.

Dont think they take the money (premium accounts not counted, and I got one).
I think they just have their tech's messing and they don't really see that it's no good.
Why would there be no word of login problems on the blog if they knew.

I can't log in either

It's the same problem as they were having last night. Likely they have shut the grid down to any new logins. When they do that, those that are already logged in remain, which is why you see people on the grid.

Practically had the place to myself last night.

OK, I been suffering this problem since yesterday. Linden blog said that the grid was "feeling better" after the major problems of late last night/early morning (London time) but performance was still very laggy. I tried for 3hrs early this morning to log on. I was sometimes successful but frequently crashed out when attempting to do anything. For 4 hrs there was no announcement of a problem on the Grid status blog till just past 7am PST even though the forums were filling up with "wtf is going on posts" and people had been firing off help requests. It is now 8 hrs since the re-occurrence of last night's problems started if indeed it is a re-occurrence and not a continuation. In all that time LL have not given us one explanation/reason of what is causing this. We can guess that it's probably an asset based problem but it worries me that LL have not given a reason for the failure. Could it be that LL have no idea what is causing it to go wrong or no idea how to fix it? If they shared the problem maybe someone out here might have a solution or a work around for them. This continual "we're still working on it" is not filling me with any confidence until I know the exact nature of the problem.

just wish they would log my av out.....she need me....and is lonely sitting on her island all by herself, probly with a que full of IMS of people thinking im being self centered and ignoring them....poor crizzy...i miss myself!

does anyone know how to log myself out at least? or is this just wait tell they figure it out, which could be days and days and days, thank God i dont have to pee in Sl... i may come home to quite a mezz!

Tried to login to Plum but was moved to Iris.

well at least I feel a little bit better knowing that I'm not the only one having that problem...
it is kinda frustrating...

what is PLUM? how do i try to log into there????
