We need more menswear designers

i am working on men's clothing. I plan to have a variety just as big as the women's selection I now have. Just as soon as i get the time and ideas of what exactly to design.

what is it that guys like to wear? I am lost.

Nehoo, lol, Has anyone been to my shop 'The Trend'? I only sell clothes for men. It's all mostly normal stuff that you'd see people wearnig in everyday real life sorta style.

I'm located in GS, Mexican town mall, Pyramid mall, Centre Ville and my main shop is in Isabel 135,95... The Isabel store is updated almost everyday with something new.

Plus, avalon. do a complete outfit in about 6 different colours in their mall in GS and avalon.

I made some of the fall/winter Dolce and Gabbana line (my rl personal favorite brand) i dont know if i will be releasing them though.

OK I need 1 basic brown suit with jacket and tie for a Halloween costume. Anybody know where I can buy one?

Al, look at Stampshady Grimm's profile..or IM him..he's got a really nice brown suit - so does Fey Brightwillow (who has several suits and tuxes that are nice).

Suggie Liu has some VERY nice men's leather pants (Petals and Thorns), Jennyfur (Deadly Nightshade) has this HUGE wall of great men's clothes..and Eagle Outfitters seems to have a lot of basic guy stuff that is generic (ie, not specialized (like goth or biker..etc).

Damien Fate has some very nice men's stuff, as well. Most outfits can be worn in pieces too to make even more outfits. I don't have a male av, but (as Jennyfur says) all this stuff looks good on female Avs, too..and I wear many 'guy' outfits.

I love how creative the clothing designers are in SL..

P.S. I'm a complete Bakuzuelas fan..ever since I had that INCREDIBLE experience with him..stuck in an elevator..

Thanks, I finally settled on one of Demian's trenchcoat outfits - worked better than a suit anyway. A couple small tweeks and my Halloween costume is done! I call "Invisible Man".

The lack of menswear resulted in me creating a female avatar just to have something to shop for. Within a day my female outfits was 3x more than my men's and most of the men's stuff designed by women are either too fruity or too drab.

I'm starting to design more men's clothes. I've focused first on swimwear and underwear -- I just hated that I couldn't find a decent pair of shorts.

I like to shop at stores like Express Men, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch and etc... take a look at their websites and see what kind of stuff guys like to buy.

I make mens clothes and already have a small variety of some pretty casual/modern clothing out..cargo pants, jeans, hoodies and skate shoes..i am working on more and hope to soon have a large variety of mens clothing coming soon. Got bored with women's clothing!

So do men want their pants waists to come all the way up, or on certain pants do they want some of their belly to show up over the top between pants and the bottom of a shirt? I always figured that men wanted pants that came all the way up on the waist, unless they were designed to show off some underwear or something.

So, to summarize... skin or no skin at the top of mens' pants waistbands???

Last year, when I first started, I posted something along these very lines. My answer? What do men want? It became a thread of men posting what they were looking for. Unfortunately, none of it ever came to pass, so therefore, we still have an almost total lack of men's clothing.

However, that being said, outfits, check out Rocking Tokyo. They've got a couple of really kicking suits.

As it happens, I'm trying to devote the entire secnd floor of my store to men's clothing, but I've run into a HUGE hitch.

I have no idea what kind of clothes men like. :/
