404. *sad*

I can offer hosting space for these files if wanted, I've got far more web space than I need. IM me in-game if you're interested.

Jinny.

Very interested in the tutorial, when you get it finished. And understand the $50L stipulation, although I am just interested in making clothes for myself. Most of the ones I have found in SL are not age appropriate for me. :-)

Thank you.

Jinny,

PLEAZE put these files somewhere! I'm absolutely desperate for some samples so I can make my own skin. You'd help me (and no doubt others) beyond all reasonable awareness! Wire Frames don't tell me where muscles should be.

pleeeeez?

Zenboy, I don't have the files, but you can get an idea of where the muscles are by looking at the AV Bump files.

I'm not sure where they are on a PC, but on a Mac, if you right click (control click) on the Second Life application, you can choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Then go to Contents/Resources/character/bump_lowerbody_base.tga or .../bump_upperbody_base.tga.

Anyone want to step in here, and give the path for these files on the PC? :D

These are just .tga files, so you can open them in your normal graphics program, and take a look! For some reason, there aren't any arm muscles there; but most of the others are shown, and it will (at least) give you a better jumping-off place than the wireframes.

You can even upload them to SL, and "wear" them to see if you would change any of the muscle positions.

Hope this helps!

Robin

Jennifer, Winter--
That would be great if you could put the file in an accessible location.

I too would like to get a hold of it :)

The files are ONLINE

Thanks to the dilligence of Jennifer M, and my own dogged relentlessness, we now have copies of the files that Jinny was distributing, available for download.

These files are zip archives, that contain layered PSD (Photoshop) files. You will need an unzipping utility (I use "WinRar";).. and a graphics program that can access PSD's.

Don't expect these to be "instant skins".. they're hardly ready for primetime. But in terms of layout and such, they seem extremely helpful. These are mostly for clothing design, but you could use these templates to help you make your own skin from scratch.

As per Jinny's original request:
From: someone
Clothes made using these templates cannot be sold for more than $50.
Skin samples are not for resale or redistribution in any form, AT ALL, however you are more than welcome to upload modified versions of the skin, so you can see how it looks on.

The secondary "Bikini Help" file has the additional stipulation that it not be used for any commercial products.. but you can use what you learn. (not sure how helpful those files will actually be, but I'm sharing what I got)

The files:
  1. jinny's_skin_samples.zip
  2. jinny's_bikini.zip
