Templates for Clothes, and "sample" PS files...

Demand for these has been quite high so I'm just sending out a standard email with the link.

I'm still getting a lot of requests for the examples. Demand seems quite high- I'd definitely appreciate some feedback about whether they were useful, and what kind of thing people would like to see in the NEXT zip file .

Oh noooooes with the page unavailableness I wanted to try making a skin tonight and was all bouncy when I spotted this thread I'll still have a play, but knowing my previous efforts, it would have been handy to see a correct alpha.

In response to Zazas Oz's post on the first page, and others similar - the way I see it was much better phrased by another person here, whose name I can't remember (apologies!) - talking, I think, about prim torture and keeping the 'keys' secret. They said that the knowledge of the numbers is like tools to your toolbox. If you don't have them, you're less equipped to do the job. Yet having those tools doesn't mean you're instantly on a standard with everyone else - it just means you have the ability to be.

My apologies if I've phrased or interpreted that wrong, but that's the way I see (to some degree) hints and tips for things such as clothes and skin design. If I had that knowledge, I think I'd be happy to share it. Just because everyone knows how to make a neat sleeve does not mean that everyone will be able to make a *good* item of clothing. These little bits of information that are so hard to figure out alone are the tools - the skill comes with the creativity and talent of the individual and how they choose to use the knowledge.

I'm not arguing with you here, just putting forward my point of view I don't believe that helping folk out with these details should be such a worry, because the true quality comes with talent and imagination. By making this information available, those who have it should be equipped to provide healthy competition - those who don't, you don't need to worry about

In typical Jinny stylee I deleted the files a few days ago-- I didn't realise there had been a link made to them in the "sticky" post.

One reason I deleted them was-- they were crap.

I'm currently working on a "proper" tutorial which would include template files and screen shots. If you can bear with me for a couple of weeks it should be all sorted then.

Apologies to anyone who has tried to download them lately!

I get page not found as well... and would greatly appreciate the files as well. I have down loaded a few other templates and am just startign to attempt to make clothes... but it woudl help to see the process. The template, the item on the template and the finished product.
