well age play does nothing for me, but really, if its done between two consenting adults, its none of my business. I find other thigs as offensive as age play, but different strokes for different folks as they say.

Short definitely doesn't equal ageplay.

Ageplay is a state of mind, you could ageplay with any type or size of av when you think about it. Someone could still ageplay with an adult avatar and just be in the "little girl mindset" without the little girl av, since it's just the definition of two consenting adults' relationship regardless of how those adults look (on sl or rl).

In RL, ageplay is something that peaks my curiousity a bit, just cause I can be a bit immature and still run around the house with the teddy bear my boyfrend gave me and act like a cute little brat. The idea of my boyfriend acting protective and nuturing is really sweet to me. But some aspects of ageplay still squick me out a bit. *shrugs* I don't see a problem with other people being into ageplay, although ageplay on SL squicks me out slightly more that RL ageplay just because of the ones who run around in child avatars.. at least in RL people don't turn into physical children while doing this sort of roleplay.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Short doesn't mean ageplay; short just means short! The end.

Lets not forget that most people who ageplay it isnt a sexual thing. Look up ageplay on a wiki and you will find out that there is both Non Sexual Ageplay and Sexual Ageplay.

I hope not - I've got my av set to 5'4" height, and it's kinda hard trying to hug someone whose av is now 8'-something.

A good friend of mine is a dwarf - and he gave me a kinda cute dwarf girl skin. I don't think I'll ever be asked to do "age play" in that, nor will he.

Although alot of the models/clothes designers seem to be using very kiddie-like avs now... makes me wonder.

I've found that often short does equal a different sort of age indication. Veteran players will often be shorter than newcomers, who haven't yet figured out that avatars skew towards really tall. Also, it seems like every time I come back after a few months' absence it seems like all my friends have shrunk again!

My av is about the same height as i am IRL. 5'8. If anyone insults me for it i place them on mute. :/ I suggest you do the same. I don't age play unless you count being over 1000 years old to be age play.. o.o

If you dont understand something, you should just ignore it. If you dont like "ageplay" then dont have anything to do with it. doing something negative, saying anything to people, is actually doing something about it. I know osme Ageplayers that only like it because everyone else yells about it so much.


I do some Teenaged ageplaying on SL, i dont really care for going younger and dont understand why people want to, but i dont hold their thoughts against them.

I often Ageplay in Real Life as well, its quie fun and the guys Ive played with seems to enjoy it more because i am quite physically small and can pass fo rmuch younger than the 28 i am.

My biggest problems with the loudmouths about ageplay is that they think its about actually involving children, and just cant cope its about a mental aspect, and nothing to do with an actual age. All Ageplayers i know in RL (cant speak for the SL known ones) totally hate child predators, and wouldnt ever do anything with a child.

There is all kinds of kinks out there, but you need to stop persacuting people just because you think they might do something to someone sometime. Well better start killing all babies born until the human race is gone, because you never know that baby might grow up to be the next hitler.... or you will be because of your crusade agasint it.

Teeny has been 4'-8" (without heels) for 3 years. I was short before it was trendy.

It's already fustrating enough being short, pose balls of any kind are akward at best. I had to put a box under me at my wedding & the prom LOL. I get comments but it's rare. I fond that those that make the comments are usually sick for thinking it in the 1st place. Makes it that much easier to put mute the freaks when they out themselves that way.

I am 4'10" in SL and I love it that way. I do get comments sometimes, but as Meri said, it just helps me see who is a freak and shouldn't belong next to me LOL. That freaking hoebag Merlyn cut off Polyesther from her own ad for earrings to post it on her site, saying she needed to be "put back to teen grid".... and we ONLY saw her face in the ad, so imagine! Some peole are stuck-up like that. Nothing you can do.

No, missy is short, very short, think she's like 4'8" or something. but from her profile it's obvious she's not young, course she might have the body she had when she was 17 (darn transporter malfunctions ) but her own kids are out of college allready. Still you allways get the ones who think just because you may come up waist high on them, you're a kid. (especialy given the fact that she doesn't have helium hooters like so many in SL do it seems)

Sexual ageplay is wrong because the US legal system has jurisdiction over LL, and they tend to regard anything sexual as being far more dangerous for society than anything martial, and punishments are meted out accordingly.

Just ask yourself, how many gunshootings do you see portrayed on mainstream US TV, and how many uncovered breasts do you see on mainstream US TV?

But that's mainly caused by the very twisted notion that the US law system has, that "Sex is BAD and killing people is GOOD". I won't go further into that, to prevent this from going into politics. Of course Linden labs has to keep to the US law system, but there's no actual child porn involved in SL, and if I remember correctly, that as long as there's no actual children (photographs, video images) involved, it's legal... For instance, japanese "shota" is not against the law in the US. Correct me if I'm wrong...

If there's underage RL people playing SL on the main grid, then of course it's another story..
