So if its a power failure like the last outage i have to wonder why the hell does LL not have a generator. im thinking maybe a large one that runs on natural gas like the one we have at work. maybe with batteries to keep things going for the half a second while the generator kicks in. heck it probably wouldn't have to power the entire grid. maybe just enough to house the in world population until the main power comes back. maybe the just the main servers and sims that made up the world back in march or april of last year.

The grid is back open again - we were down due to a hardware failure which required a restart of the grid. Sorry for the inconvenience.




Couldn't sleep cuz someone is snoring too loud so I came back to check things out and when I saw the above I had to wonder...will LL ever admit the "hardware failure" was the real cause of things being so screwy the last couple of days??



Nah... that would be too easy. :D
