From: Lewis Nerd I see we now have an 'anti the change in abortion laws' rally going on on Sunday. This carries on with the 'Impeach Bush' problem that annoys a lot of people too. Shouldn't we just leave real stuff where it belongs - reality - and stop bringing all this crap into game where it's entirely unnecessary? It's a game. A chance to escape from all the things that annoy us - like politics. If you want to play that stuff, get your own private sim and play there as much as you like, but don't bring that crap into the game and annoy everyone else who doesn't care. Why? There is a world outside the US. We don't care about your petty in-squabbling about issues that don't concern us. That's what reality is for. Lewis Who died and made you <insert diety here>? If that's your opinion, fine - but having a one-time event is not the same as littering the landscape with annoying signs meant to do nothing more than extort money from people.

Honestly as long as I have my own sim, I don't have to be bothered with what the rest of sl is doing. Upon leaving it however, well somedays I see crap I would rather not, so I fly in another direction. Cat

From: Introvert Petunia What's that about "removing the plank from your your own eye asswipe"? Wasn't that in the bible or sumptin? And on that note: PIE!

From: Hiro Queso Could have been worse. Could have mentioned the golden ratio, that would have been something else to look up If I wanted to confuse people I would have mention script rotation, and the joy that is trying to understand quaternions. The algebra of biquaternions is isomorphic to a full matrix ring over the complex number field. I bet you didn't know that. And back on topic, I propose weget rid of quaternions from Second Life. In fact, I'll extend this to say we should get rid of all hyper-complex numbers from Second Life. If it can't be rotated using good old euler vectore then it can stay pointing east damnit!

PS: I voted for pie, but only because cheesecake was not listed as an option.
cheesecake > pie > politics.

I like imaginary doughnuts better than transcendtal pies. That's not off-topic, is it?
