Absolutely. I got some of the same slowdowns and error messages reported earlier. I know they aren't helpful, but basically: lots of logins right now, the queue is jam-packed. Just keep attempting to login and you should eventually make it in. I'll be watching this thread. I don't get any error messages. Just constant crashes. |

I realize a lot of people cannot get into SL right now, but, THIS IS TOTALLY, COMPLETELY AND ABSOLUTELY NUTS! I am having severe SL withdrawal and about it commit hari kari.

I don't get any error messages. Just constant crashes. If it didn't crash before the recent downtime, attempt to uninstall and reinstall SL. Also see if you can get into Preview. _____________________

Okay if you say the grid is open the grid should be open. But if we can't log in, then there should be a message on the grid status page saying something like "Log-ins may be slow" or "It is possible you may not be able to log in for a while". Not "Come back everyone! The grids open" Cause it's not. Not for a lot of us...

I've been trying for an hour off and on to get in but can't. my meeting was at 1pm and got underway by only 15 minutes when the grid crashed. Now it is nearly 8pm and I still haven't been able to get in. Perhaps if LL paid us back a percentage of teir for all of the time the service is down due to any reason, include griefer attacks, something more substantial would be done to stop such griefers.

When the grid comes up after a crash, all the SL addicts wardial to get in. It overloads the login servers and the login que backs up.
Just wait a little while, its one of those properties of a zillion people overloading a server. Things will likely normalize in a half hour or so login-wise. They usually do. _____________________

Seems that my more than 125 bucks a month will go for nothing today as, in spite of the message updates regarding status of the grid, I am NOT getting on. Some lame message about "problems" well, let me keep my money until I can use what I'm paying for...ok?? Or give me some kinda rebate.

You think I'm going to waste my time trying to get in while that kind of foolishness is clogging the entrances? Instead I'm entertaining myself watching people ignore actual information from Torley so they can "vent" here and post the same uninformed complaint that's been made and answered at least 15 times tonight already. |

If it's down for 24 hours, maybe you get a rebate. Otherwise you don't. You signed up for SL, you agreed to the TOS. |

I like so many others cannot get into game tonight, I read the post.. the grid is up, but *sigh* the door won`t open enough for me to squeeze in. It`s frustrating because YESTERDAY, I bought land and a house, and I looked forward to being able to work on them tonight.... after a million reports sent and just as many crashes, I`m giving up I think for tonight... good luck to anyone out there that is TRYING to get in.
