LL should not change its business interests to satisfy one person.

More than one person. About 10 business (or more) persons to be more precise.

GOM was two persons.

Notice the $L taking a slide since this action? Cut out economic stimulators... that's what you get, but I don't expect a commie like yourself to grasp that anyway.

And by the way....thank you for reminding me daily why I locked the copy perms on my radios.

I'm sure that isn't factoring in the population explosion since then..

It's only one factor, but a factor no less.

Only a commie would snub a capitalist and business person from speaking out for their business.

Thank you Lucifer.

Here in the capitalist world, indeed it is a thief. In communist countries, IP rights and copyright law don't exist.

Anyway, Jamie tosses that ad hominem around alot, I'm just giving her a taste of her own medicine. DAMN!, I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!

No, YOU have no clue. You know about as much about economics as my hamster, so do yourself a favor and shut up before you lose the little credibilty you don't have left, freebie reseller.

*guess what country has a large portion of all knock-off merchandise sold?

Hint, it's communist.

This is where I would normally point out that this thread is going in circles, has decended into name-calling, and post a picture to help derail the momentum.

This is where I'd normally point out that Hiro is trying, yet again, at the ripe old age of early 20's, to come off smug and superior, but I won't, because eh, it's rather obvious isn't it?

On the contrary.

I think some very good points, strong suggestions and new policies have been discussed here.

Not like you would contribute to anything positive though.

But Cristiano, anybody can use a land scanner if they want to. So scanning land is available to everyone.

coco

And now anyone can buy the land from Find Land, like everyone else. The business did not disappear, the playing field changed. The land scanners bought from LL, now they have to use Find Land to buy the same plots of land they were getting first dibs on for no good reason.

OMG why are you freaking people still arguing with Weedy? Get a life. Weedy is arguing from an emotional position. I sympathize with Weedy, but there is no way to win here.

Weedy, LL doesn't give a damn you are pissed off. They have a "business plan" and they are following it. Why don't tell them you don't give a damn and stop giving them money? Obviously they don't care about your business, you should not care about theirs. There are other ways to make money, find one.

And this thread should be closed by now, ohh no wait. The stupid "Free accounts will make more furries" thread is still open. Glad to see it is business as usual in craptastic moderation world.

True, in so many ways. There is no way to get them to change their position, It is my only hope at this time that they adopt proper policies in the alternative. By relaying my experiences in this field, I would hope that they would listen and understand some of the pitfalls and problems associated with it.

Anshe Corp gives them 20-30K a month and they still do things to piss her off. Do you really think they care about you?

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. I honestly have no idea.

One thing I do know for sure, I won't run away with my tail between my legs. I will adapt.

I will continue to be part of the community and offer criticism and advice when it comes to it.

GOM was not just two persons.

GOM was not even just two persons 0 it was two persons, plus all their many customers.

GOM represented the best of what residents can do when they are indeed free to create their own businesses. And represented how eager the other residents are to patronize such resident businesses.

And GOM also represented a lesson about what a dampening effect it can have on residents when they learn that their businesses can be co-opted by the government at any time.

I noticed you earlier, Hiro, trying to shoo Andrew away from the thread, and I wanted to say then - if Andrew and Weedy and the others are having a good discussion, I wish you would just LET them.

GOM also represented a text book example of adapt or die. They did not have to roll over and play dead, they could have diversified their business.
