Anti-furry Griefers

I can't believe this, I just came home today from work, login to second life and are greeted by these people IN MY HOUSE.

I ask them what they are doing then I realise in horror as I walk into the house and see THIS:

they have smeared what I believe is POOP all over my bedroom and television! All over the furniture, walls bedspread, everything!



but it doesn't stop there, I walked down the hallway to find THIS in my mate's bedroom



I think this is a pretty obvious anti-fur message and i'm really sick of all the hate. WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE AGAINST FURRIES? What posses someone to do this just because I'm a homosexual furry?? This is the third time this week that i've been griefed at because of my avatar, and I'm not going to take this anymore!

That's a rather hateful act. If it's because you're furry... I guess bullies just like to pick on what's different, or someone who they percieve as 'weak' for some reason. If it makes you feel any better though, it may not be specifically anti-furry. I got griefed for the first time earlier this week, with self-replicating penises in my house while a barrage of bullets was unleashed. Whatever the reason, I'm sorry you had to walk into that.

I have nothing against furries. In fact I love them They are my friends.

Damn, it just angers me that people would do something like that!

Oh, man that sucks hardcore.

If you don't mind Leif, could you also drop me a notecard in-world describing the incident? I'm starting up a Griefer Database and hope to be able to share with others this information.

We may not be able to completely stop these kinds of attacks, but at least the information will be out there. Also i would suggest contacting the United Furry Organization, they've created a group whose purpose is to report and record attacks on Furrys inworld.

TITLE: Note card title. Should begin with either "Griefer" or "Minor"

YOUR NAME: Your AV name.

DATE: the date it occurred

GRIEFER/MINOR NAME: Their AV name.

LOCATION: parcel name/sim name/coordinates

ACTIONS: What happened, someone attacked you, someone harassed you, a kid divulged his/her age, etc.

If you were attacked, please describe the weapons used. And please send only things that have occurred to you, not what happened to a friend of a friend that one time

Theres quite alot of oddness in SL, some of its fun, some of it is confusing.

Furries are sort of in the middle of fun and confusing for me.

But as confusing as they can be at times....theres nothing a furry can do, or would do, that is could be anything close to as twisted and fucked up as someone that would take the time to do that to a furry just because they don't understand them.

I'll be honest...I'm a human...and sometimes furries confuse me or make me nervous and I don't know why. But I try to treat everyone with respect, and I do everything I can to try to understand others and be tolerant of who they are.

Hate crime is hate crime, even virtually, in my opinion...if someone had done something like that in real life they'd be arrested for it and probably sent to jail...or at least a psychiatric ward.

That really is a grotesque act, but how do they do something like that in SL without being able to create objects or edit existing ones? Get the perp's name from the evidence and AR them. I wish there was more that could be done in-world, but that's the limit under the existing rules.

I used to leave all my plots so that others could build on them, those days are over.

This is a true OUTRAGE. The days when furries could set up homes in Second Life are soon coming to an end when these idiots can interrupt the business of honest furries in this metaverse! The Lindens should do something about these people, and I don't see how they continue their actions WITHOUT COMMENT!!! I am calling for immediate action to stop this threat to furry life and what it stands for!!!! The furry community cannot let this insult pass, and I say we FIND these miscreants and show them what we're made of! We will brign our signs and voices to them, and protest their actinos ONCE AND FOR ALL! IT IS TIME TO TAKE THE LAW INTO OUR OWN PAWS!

Get names, make reports. Tell me those names. Then use autoreturn set to a minute or less.

Truly, such a heinous act must give us paws.

Poop is just bad enough when you get your blood boiling enough where you want to find these people who were the culprits and ban then.

Blood and guts is not much shocking but still really it tells that greifer how much he hates that certain type of group. That should be harshly delt with as well.

Overall.. looks like vandalism. It reminds me of the gangers in my local area who come out at night sometimes to graffiti some nice looking buildings out in the public shopping areas but outside.

That was a full-on, pre-meditated attack! Seriously. They HAD to make the textures, overlay and place them on transparent prims, buy or create the furry head...

Ok. That disturbs me. Greatly. Report them now. Period. For god's sake don't clean it up either.

In fact, I'll help pay or part of the tier if you'll leave it up to show people through. Seriously. People NEED to look at things like that.

Because if that's a prank, the person needs HELP. The only other option is HATE, and then that person needs to be delt with. That level of hostility WILL show itself in real life.

I agree with Jonas and you should buy a good security orb. I like the one from Psyke's. It will keep your home safe from these sick hoomans. It is easy to set up and will allow you to set the warning time and everthing.
Remember to set the autoreturn, it is important!

I asked for names..they already returned it all.

Jonas, alot of furries (in and out of SL) think of themselves as animals who were born into human bodies kinda by mistake -- so calling them human is considered an insult. You really ought to do more research on furries before you start throwing comments like that around.

Considering the way that humans treat each other, I'd agree, particularly after this mindlessly vicious attack.

I was thinking more along the lines of wtf?
