Tricking people into believing they can literally be punished or controlled against their will is where I draw the line. It's abuse. Now you understand why I made my original OP. What you stated here are my reasons for posting it. One thing I don't do is go around griefing. It's been done to me and I have no desire to make anyone feel the way it made me feel. I even came close to leaving SL because of it. Now I stay pretty much to myself building except for when I play tringo. Occasionally I do a little shopping. I don't think I need say anything more.

From: Selene Gregoire ok I'll concede the point that it isn't possible to -script- an object to attach itself to you. But you said it yourself.... gain that permission covertly. So in essence it is still possible to ko'lar or collar, which ever (yes I have read the Gor books and I have been in Gor as I have stated before), someone against thier will. The against thier will part is the whole point of my OP. If someone manages to get you to attach scripted items then sure, they could follow you about. But they would not be able to do anything if you detached them. There is absolutely no way that somebody could do something against your will if you just detached everything they gave you. If there are people saying otherwise, they are deceitful exploitative liars who need to be exposed. |

There is one thing to watch out for... and that is deceptive scripts that once owned by you go wild and launch a grey goo atack with the intent of geting your acount cancled.
