just what constitutes "celebrity" in this case? Most of the names mentioned so far, I've never even heard of. Did they star in an obscure Swedish art film? Were they instrumental in curing some terrible wasting disease?

I think the "cleberity" status names mentioned here are heavy forum posters. Many are IW and hardly ever post in forums and have successful businesses, etc.
Persephone Phoenix (She runs Pheonix spa in Slyvania)
Ivy Thatch (Runs Dirty Deeds)
Rizado DaSilva (Former owner of Klub Kink and now a Gorean Sim (forget name))
Stroker Serpentine (Do I have to say more)
MarmelaGramela Doesburg (Runs SLuster and involved with OnArt I think)
Tink Buttercup (Owner of Risque...my favorite shopping spot)
Ashley Petunia (Dispite our differences she does alot of work in BDSM circles)
Nage Archer (Again another BDSMer that does alot)
Wraith Unsung (owner of Dungeon Online and recently moved of toa full sim. Not sure of details on a that)
Obscuro Valkyrie (Owner of Transylvania Sims and legendary "First vampire" of SL)
Mister Ambassador (Owner of Minerva. He locks himself away there working and *giggles* slaving away. If what I heard it right...ladies he's a keeper.)

There are tons you never see in the forums and yet see thier groups on every profile, thier name spashed across every SIM, or the club constantly on the popular list. I notice that alot of the BDSMers hardly ever post here except to say hi.

Since i'm the one who put Katt in charge, i should post some names aswell. As for what is a SLebrity, I think it would be the most fun to have people with wich you could have a good time with. Or people who you admire, and can show you around the projects they are working on. I already see some great names here, and will add somemore that i haven't seen yet. ReallyRick: great personality and allways ready to help out. Getting a glimpse of what SL is for him seems like fun. Cory Edo: Sharp witted, and talented builder. Spending some time in her company should give you a complete new few on SL. Chandra Page: Not very active on the forum. But a undeniable precense in the secondlife IRC channel. Very sharp and funny. Build the great rideable Xylophone for burning live, and creator of the famous UniCycle. And she plays a mean game of Primtionary. Crystalshard Foo: Scripter of several great products, like the Dance-Foo or the controversial Freeview. . Also was Co-Creator of the Amazing Haunted House that opend on Halloween. |

Some Clothing/hair/accesories Designers that are fun to be around: Zyrra Falcone Lo Jabocs HoseQueen McLean Nikolaii Uritsky Oh, and i realise it will be a good idea to second people wich are already listed, instead of only posting new ones. That way it is beter to see who is popular. Will do that in my next post. |

Good idea, Frans. I second Torley, Launa, Flipper, Cristiano, Pendari, Aimee, Willow, Prokofy, ReallyRick, Cory Edo, Anshe, and Frogg. That's not to say that others are not celebrities, but these are people I have seen around either on the forums or in-world that seem to garner more attention than others.
