And i supose having my inventory open up every folder that exists inside it when i do a search, has something to do with my hardware? I think not... i build computers i know what does what. The Inventory Coding is part of the SL client. Something LL built. So its up the THEM to fix it not me. Unless they wish to open source it. :/
I build computers also so I know what does what as well...I am in no way trying to offend or attack anyone, their knowledge or their computer system. I'm simply trying to point out that these oddities do not happen to everyone so it is more likely some sort of odd hardware or software conflict that is at the root of the problem. Who knows, it could be some small bit of code in any number of programs that people have on their system that's aiding the odd behavior. The problem still lies in LLs hands to fix for sure, it's just that it is quite a task when you take into consideration what they're trying to accomplish here and the large number of variables they're working with. It will require patience on all our parts if we ever wish to see SL "perfected".
