SL needs better looking shoes

If what you were looking for was inexpensive shoes, you should have said so. I would have never recommended Minx since they are not inexpensive shoes, but they do design the sexiest stiletto heeled shoes in SL which is what I thought you were looking for. LeCadre also has cute stiletto shoes, and yet another of the many shoe stores in SL that has shoes that are not "Frankenstein-ish."

Anyways, I'm glad you found something you liked and I hope this thread changed your mind about your blanket "The others (no offense to anyone) just look way too weird to me... kinda Frankenstein-ish" comment. That was obviosly an untrue statement and not very nice at all.

Sorry for being so straightforward but people coming to the forums bashing designers, however subtle, is one of my pet peeves. All of our SL designers work very hard and deserve all of the praise and encouragement we can give them

Actually, money is no object. I have tons of it... And would spend $5000L on a pair if I have to (mind you if the style is just right). But hey, who doesn't like a sale

ZVZ Ultra Designs has some nice heels.

I don't suppose there are any nice looking prim shoes that are either modifiable, so I can make it fit. or have scripts that alllow one to adjust the angle of various parts so they can be made to fit?

not sure what you mean by made to fit, all Le Cadre Network shoes fit a size zero foot and when they are ankle or calf boots they are made to fit any size calf or ankle, sometimes you may just have to tilt them or move them slightly

My opinion is just that, my opinion. I can't help the fact that when I look at some of these shoes they remind me of Frankenstein. That's what comes to mind. It's no different then one saying, "Hey Tonia, look over there. Doesn't that remind you of________________???".

What can I say, different strokes for different folks.

Also, yes, I agree with you when you said "designers work very hard and deserve all of the praise and encouragement we can give them". For this sole reason I didn't have it in me to list their names. That, I would never do.

Since the grid was having so many problems yesterday the 50% OFF ALL shoes in Le Cadre sale was moved to today and is going on NOW until 12 AM

When I get back on I'm spendin' some linden on dem spikey-heeled boots.

I'd like to know if anyone else went to a shoe sale that was posted for this past Wed,but then after the fact was moved to Thurs without a notice at the store,so several people bought shoes that were suppose to be half out but ends up payed full price. I myself bought 2 pair,totally 700L did not receive the shoes due to a bug at the time,and when contacting the maker,thru im's then 3 notecards which I know were accepted I have never once received a response. Sad when a message is posted that you aren't being ignored when it seems in face you are,spending L and having nothing to show for it not even an apology.

Hi Cyn, this is the first that I have been aware of this issue, but what you say is not true... SL was down for MOST of the day on Wednesday... as soon as we were able to log in there were signs all over the store saying that the sale was moved to Thursday, it was also posted in the forums and ALSO messages were sent out through the Le Cadre Mailing list, we did the best we could to inform everyone of the time change... you can do research through the forums to see the postings as well..
Sl was rolled back Wednesday and Le Cadre was down til after 7pmish... I am not sure when you purchased these shoes or how you missed the signs as there were several placed throughout the store as soon as we were able to access Le Cadre...
I am sorry this has happen to you, Have you tried Iming either Asri or us since the incident? I haven't received anything that I am aware of.. Also if you bougt some boots at $700 (full price) why did you proceed to buy more?

i could have sworn we spoke about this....you werent the only one that bought on the 19th i thought i had spoken to everyone that contacted me...plz check your inventory because i sent out the shoes plus free gifts to those that had issues you will more then likely find them there. if not contact me again inworld. I try not to miss anything but im only human.

I found out about a shoe maker that made me so very happy the other day. So happy that I bought over 5 pairs of her shoes and clothes! Well I knew her as a great shoe designer so I knew exactly I was getting quality. When I find talent and I am amazed of someone's creativity I usually leave IM's complimenting. I left over 5 IM's complimenting this person.

However, I am a bit dissappointed this person didn't acknowledge the 5-6 Im's I left her. Plus I invited her to be part of the Free Dove with a notecard I dropped on her profile (that she got)

She has been in SL for quite long time and she knows my name. She sure knows who I am and what I have done in SL. She knows I am not a newbie just IMing and bugging for no reason. My dissappointment is that when you received such complements as I left, wouldn't you react at them? or ignore them? I mean I was so excited of the new styles she had. So, excited that I kept talking over the IM complimenting. Maybe I shouldn't waste my time in leaving IM's to the great talent of SL because sometimes to much complement make them feel so much powerful.

People get complaints over complaints about "I just bought a shoe and is not what I want", ect.. complaints... I in the contrary prefer to complement and tell the designer how much I enjoy what they make and give them thanks to share what they can offer to the rest of us that can't be as talented in the way they are.

C'mmon designers, shoe makers, anyone.. when you receive such compliments... A simple "THANKS" would be nice. Or.. "I am glad you are enjoying your purchase".

Anyway, I had to say something. Because it kinda ticked me this person didn't react at my so many IM's I left. Ok Ok, maybe all of the IM's were capped!!!! Yeah! that is it, they were Capped!!!.. i dont know.. I get all my capped IM's in my email. ALL! I didn't know someone can get over 5 IM's from someone capped? How come that doesn't happen to me? But, I am gonna blame the capped system, yes!!! Bad bad IM capping system.

I receive compliments, because of the free dove, rates, compliments because of my mall, apartments, my designs when people buy them and other things I am proud to have with my partner and I always always drop an IM saying, "thanks"

I am not going to say the name of the designer. I am sure she would know.

Anyway, I still love the shoes and tell proudly where to find them. I need to go back to her store and get more!! Because I need to get more solid/neutral colors. They just fit so perfect!!!! I will continue telling people to go visit her store when they compliment my shoes!!! And as usual I am a walking commercial since I had DoveVogue Modeling back then.

I also want to invite Crucial, Asri and some of the great designers here that haven't donate a freebie to The Free Dove.. now is a well visited place for New Residents. We have the best talented designers. Already over 75 designers, which hopefully are getting traffic thru this.

First I did not buy boots,I bought 2 pairs of new shoes,and I bought the second pair in hopes that the first was a fluke. And I am well aware that im's get capped,so far as being rubbish I also sent 3 notecards. If there were signs posted then I would say the 15-20 people also there buying shoes at the same time I was there did not see it.

And you completely ignore what Asri posted, anyone that bought shoes and didnt get them due to a bug, were passed the shoes along with a free gift for the troubles... if you didnt get yours by mistake,please contact Asri and let her know, I also asked if you had contacted either of us since the incident, I guess thats a no?

I agree completely SuezanneC .. I have found ZVZ Ultra Designs which has awesome shoes and exceptional western boots (best I have seen so far in world) very realistic! Plus all the clothing in store vendors are shown with matching shoes/boots. and if they are not in the same vendor it was easy to find as the store is very well organized.

Gecko shopping center has a store called kangaroo's. They sell men's and women steel toed boots, i just bought a pair with buckles in red. I must say i'm very happy with them. They are not knee high so if your looking for that sorta thing.
