I wonder what a real development platform's prison looks like?

It was only a matter of time before our virtual Linden government created the requisite virtual prison. Now if they could only work on that due process thing ...

Nimrod "revealed" this in the JEVN-hacked-drama thread about 2 weeks ago. Why did it take Clickable Culture so long to pick it up? Because after "revealing" it, nimrod waffled and suggested maybe it was PS'd. I asked for a straight answer and got none. Mulch's hotline post got no answer. Robin finally confirmed via an SL Answer forum response just recently. _____________________

This is incredible!! LL could be locking up SL insurgents just like W is doing in foreign secret prisons. Though I fully support King Philip I and Linden Labs. So Jamie, which is it - you a capitalist running dog or a monarchist toe-licking lackey? I'm guessing the prison sim is somehow related to whoever came up with the old 404 page? I believe it was a picture of a cornfield? my .02$L on the prison sim. _____________________

Hmmm..a prison colony in Second Life? Whatever next?
'The scene opens on an avater being strapped in to an electric chair. CUT to 1st life person staring with wry amusement at the monitor as the Last Rites are read out. The switch is thrown. CUT to aghast reaction in 1st life as 20,000 volts passes through electrical equipment, permanently frying all access to Sl and, indeed, any contact with the information super-highway.' Sligthly off topic, but the all-time best 'last words' were 'pretty soon you will have fried apple', spoken by Alfred Appel, seconds before he met is end in the electric chair. Go with a smile! |

I wonder what happens if you grief the other prisoners in there.

Signs in my corn fields, sun in my eye, where's the baseball bat?
01-05-2006 09:29
I must admit, I can not see a corn field as much of a punishing environment but then again, if you set the place up in flames and did a Satan/Hell theme, there is a slight chance many of the inmates might actually ENJOY being in purgatory and even get a kick from using all the torture implements of it.
So yes, I love it. Corn field, not my first choice, but Lindens get extra points for originality and thinking out of the box. Maybe inmates can be put to work to build a baseball field while they wait for the end of their term. LOL Send the Bush guy to the corn field where he can get all the attention he's been craving all his life due to *ahem* his shortcomings. Troy |

The cornfield - as opposed to a prison, or a hell, or anything - is just the sort of humor I enjoy. Really very, very nice.
------ The Bush guy has been in the cornfield, I believe, though it was for some other infraction. Possibly something TRULY SERIOUS like saying "f you" to somebody in a PG area! He certainly wouldn't be going there for something minor like griefing and extorting and blighting the entire grid, no siree. coco _____________________
