Well I guess it's a pretty safe bet whoever votes "no" is or knows the griefer.

Absolutely. In the US attacking a computer network is federal crime, punishable by stiff fines and jail time. I assume this is probably true in other computer-dependant countries as well. There's no reason whatsoever not to prosecute these people to the fullest extent of the law.

Beyond that, Linden Lab should file civil suits against these people as well, as should all of us who have real businesses in SL. Anyone up for a class action? I certainly am.

Again it happens. I wish LL would stop the newbie accounts. It might help reduce this........

I hope you have at least $20,000 laying around to do so. Criminal prosecution, on the other hand, is quite a lot less expensive.

I would donate 3 months earnings to go after these people and Ive spoken to many other top creators who would do the same.

I claim every dime I make and can prove a real loss, and I am not the only one.

With all due respect to those with "businesses" in SL, all those, like me, who use SL as a diversion from the difficulties of RL....who use SL as an escape from the crap that RL hands us....who just want to have some fun and have paid to do so....

Screw 'em! Tie them up! MAKE THEM PAY!!!! Tell their Mommies!

Law suits need not be expensive for plaintiffs. They can be, but they don't have to be. The idea here is to make it expensive enough for potential defendants that they'll have another reason to think twice before doing something like this.

Will the 4 ummm...dim bulbs...that voted "no" care to explain WHY? And care to explain how to curtail this activity in the future if not criminal prosecution?

Really, I'd like know why I should have to put up with griefers in SL any more than I have to put up with them in RL...someone explain.
