From: Mario Fonzarelli plz keep in mind that half the ppl that play this game dont have a RL job and suck off Goverment money cuase there to lazy to get off there @$$ and get a job <blinks> I'm not really offended by this, but I have to say... Considering your writing skills seem to be at about the 5th grade level, perhaps you should really go back to school and stop trying to lift yourself up by belittling others? On a related note. I have decided not to like you. Have a nice day. ... Now as to credit for downtime? <falls over in hysterical laughter> <Ahem!> No.

From: Brendan Liberty ...or class action against Linden Lab?
Discuss. BWAHAHAHA These posts always crack me up. If someone is a basic user, they there is nothing to refund. If someone is a premium user, their refund for a WHOLE DAY of downtime is: $10.00 / 30 = $0.34 Yes, 34 whopping cents. Go couchdiving, you'll get your refund faster. If someone is carrying tier for an ENTIRE sim then they would get: $202.00 / 30 = $6.74 Enough for a cheap lunch. Clean out your car after couchdiving and you'll probabaly find enough. Yeah, go ahead with that Class Action lawsuit. By the time you're done, everyone will end up *owing* money to the lawyers.

From: Mario Fonzarelli oo thats such a TOS uhh how about not seeing as how its a true fact and if there crippled and cant go to work then why are they sitting infront of a computer playing SL? ever heard of a desk job? look into and its called freedom of speech something that im entitled to it was not aginst one person so its not a degrading. I must say that I am less offended by the notion of my disabled neighbor receiving my tax dollars than I am by your subliterate grasp of the english language and your repeated infliction of txtspk upon us. This is a corporate forum and is subject to their TOS; "freedom of speech", as such, is circumscribed by that TOS. The options you have are to take it or leave it, really. And by the way? Insulting a group /is/ degrading. I see your grasp on logic is as shoddy as your grasp on my native tongue; try calling a group by a racial slur and see how "undegrading" it is.

Thank you for the use of the proper term "disabled," rather than the previous posters' repeated use of the archaic and offensive term "crippled." And for the record, I'm with Foolish on the not liking him thing. P2

I have a blind friend and you want him to get a deskjob? Please.
I have no problem with getting rid of moochers, but the true disabled should get our support.

And for the record, I'm with Foolish on the not liking him thing. P2 <taps finger to chin> Anyone have any ideas why 'cripple' is offensive and 'disabled' is not? I know it does seem to cross me that way as well, but... Why? Crippled and Disabled MEAN the same thing to me in this context, so why would one version seem to include a nasty streak? Is it really proper for me to be offected by the word, when it's just a term? I'm not saying the WAY it was used in this case was not wrong, just that it may be coloring our views. Thoughts?

after reading through this thread it is being closed due to name-calling and "private discussions".
