How exactly could they manage to ban avatar sex? I am not being sarcastic, but in all seriousness. How is it even possible? We have had avatar sex long before we could upload our own custom animations. Back in those days we just used stock LL poses and positioned them in a manner as to simulate apparent sex. Sure, the new animations are far better, but its always been here. Not to mention that even if you took out the visual animations and made us all sit around on plywood boxes with ugly perma undies on, people would still have cyber sex in IMs. So, utterly sidestepping the question of should they, I will say there is no realistic way they can, even if they wished to or "should". As to the issues of "should they", I say what consenting adults do is their own business. I get tired of people trying to tell me how I have to behave or think or what my "morals" should be. I am an adult of 39 years, I think I am capable of deciding for my own self how to think, behave and what my "morals" are. I had a mommy, and I am a mommy...I don't need governments or businesses trying to mommy me. What she said!!  |

Things that would go away with no sex: xcite (the good prim bits) everyoneelse (the bad prim bits) 95% of the poseball market 80% of the animations market 80% of the skins market (only need to skin the face now!) A huge chunk of the clothing market (whats the point of going out of your way to look sexy every day if theres nothing to attract?) A huge chunk of the housing market (How many of you have a house just for...... you know) With the loss of housing so goes land. Half the clubs would disapear The other half would become smaller and less popular. Only a small percentage of the SL population is creative, these are the folks that just get off on making cool stuff. The other percentage is more social, and no sex = less social. |
