If you're smart enough to make all that cash, you should also be smart enough not to use it all right after an update, imo.

edit: Just curious, where are you getting the "almost a billion" figure from? That's more than the daily volume of trades according to the homepage, and all that in a few hours would be a bit much.

That certainly is my experience, maybe it is just the learning curve but all I had to do in the last version was snap.

i didnt say all millions are mine.....and its not the point of using it after an update...if a game is restarting and paying winners over and over until accounts are wiped out and you cant get into the sim where the scripted object is ...there is nothing you can do to stop it.


im refering to ALLLL inworld networked gamming...all internetworked exchanges....stuck in loop mode because the downs sims they r located in ar stuck in loop mode

Anyway, if that specific bug you mentioned did actually occur, that's pretty nasty indeed. I would hope that it happened on a small enough scale that they are able to rollback this without creating extra L$(including LindeX transactions regarding this kind of event obviously). We will just have to wait and see what happens.

hopefully...but yes there are crazy serious issues wih the new system. And unfortunately that is a comfirmed bug of the new update ....the only thing that would fix it would be a roll back i suspect....one can only pray for it.

What Asri says is true... I had to run some errans and get out of the house before my head exploded or else I would have posted sooner...
Le Cadre' was down when SL came back up and stayed down all the way until the grid was closed... during that time 2 of my games were paying out to the winners every 2 minutes or so... L$142 and L$574 on the other all the way up untill all I had left in my account was L$45, I couldn't access Le Cadre' or do anything to stop it...even after I only had L$45 it continued to spam me and have "insufficient funds" pop ups...
I hope this didn't happen to many others and I hope LL finds a way to fix this with out causing more problems than there already are...

There are two parts that I see to the pie menu change.

One part is that you can click and drag to the selection, which is getting called a gestural menu, or some such. This could be considered a functional change. If you don't like it, just click and let up.

The other part happens when you just click and let up: the menu starts at one size and then shrinks. In order for you to see the shrinking, it has to take a discernable amount of time. I don't like the look of the effect, and I spend as much as I can afford to get the fastest computer I can find for the money. I don't want any needless delays introduced anywhere in the operating system or any programs in order to produce any sort of just- for-show effect in any part of any user interface. This includes the Second Life pie menus.

i know it's too late for this kind of advice, but if someone get that happening to them, could always quickly make an alt and transfer all money from the main character to them, so the vendors/game machines have no funds to draw from? :<
