And for some of us Wednesday is one of the days best for getting onto to something we are paying to play, I notice the front-page still doesn't say "Sign up now and get constant update downloads, grid downtime, bugs and economic strife!"

I think you're confusing "genuine, honest observations" with what people call 'whining'. Honestly most people forget that LL is not in direct control of every variable the game has following a large update. They try to catch as many as they can, but sometimes you fail. In the end, just look at what we're gaining; Every update brings a new usable feature that we later adapt to and fall in love with ( can anyone say the lighting from 1.10? ).Now, for us addicts, let's head down to Starbucks for a few hours and act all cosmopolitan! ^^ |

I don't think I'll hold live music performances on Wednesdays. Presently I do shows on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday or Sunday. Maybe Thursday instead. This happened last week as well and I was lucky that the grid came up shortly after 11 PM GMT (3PM SL time ... when the performance was listed to start) so I was able to start half an hour late. I suppose I could have set a later time, but it cuts into my sleep and the noise might annoy the neighbours.Yeh, Wednesday was a bad idea I was thinking along similar lines myself Al. Effectively SL is turning into a three and a half day week for me. Weekends aren't on at all because if it's not the asset server dying in some spectacular fashion, it's hordes of griefers making trouble. And Wednesdays - and often Thursdays too, are a mess due to updates that just don't seem to do anything useful or work properly either. Makes you wonder what you are paying all that money for at times. _____________________

Those of you who feel having SL down Every Wednesday basically all day because they can't get it right the first time, must have the luxoury of playing all the time. I only have Wed and Sun off and when all day Wed is off line it cuts greatly into the little amount of play time I get. I am getting sick of having one of my two days of play, THAT I PAY FOR!!!!!!!!! inturupted by Linden updates and screwups.

Snapshot option--I don't use the in-game snapshot option much--I usually use CTRL+Printscreen and then open photoshop and crop to capture the area I want.

The old version was FAR better. The new one is crap. Meaning, the flash is pointless, and it will take a lot of getting used to because the stillness of the avatar isn't the fact that the game is lagging.. that's just the preview of the snapshot. I rather like the old one better. _____________________

I just use the down time for catching up on reading the fourms. If it didn't crash once and a while I wouldn't really know what was going on.
(Note: Currently suffering from EOD...extreme optomism disorder...it has only noe known symptom, it is annoying to the people around the suffer...this can lead to repeated pummeling and buffeting about the pate.) |

In the end, just look at what we're gaining; Every update brings a new usable feature that we later adapt to and fall in love with ( can anyone say the lighting from 1.10? ).Now, for us addicts, let's head down to Starbucks for a few hours and act all cosmopolitan! ^^ actually its gone beyond lil bugs....entire $L accounts have been wiped out because of networked objects in world malfunctioning and stuck in pay out mode....and not little accounts either MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR resources. millions on top of millions paid out due to lack of testing. which if lindens do what they should and reimbureses each case floods sl once agin with almost a billion in extra L$ cash.  there goes the market for the next 6 months.all offline exchanges effected....all networked gaming and gambling and everyone that owns them....also all inworld networked money exchanged objects. the reason you havent heard much about it in the fourms now is cause folks are in game and on the phones freaking out about them now.......  _____________________
