Rather than spend your life bitching about how horrid SL is, and how evil landowners are, etc etc etc.... go find another online world to play in? |

Plenty of eye-candy on-site enticing users to get premium accounts...but given the frequency of updates, shudowns n' offlines (and very few explanations why), i can't see how anyone would -want- to pay a monthly fee.. as opposed to finding elsewhere to play. ^^ |

Because THEY are cheap to pay for real beta testers, and they are to lazy to fix problems before people complain. LL must be run by a bunch of idiots. People feel bad for them when they claim to not be making a profit but if they had half a clue on how to run a business they would be profiting. |

Where else is someone going to go play and have the same experience as in SL. People like the stuff they get to do in SL soooo much so, that a minor inconvenience as some of the "issues" don't stop them from enjoying it and continuing within SL. _____________________

I don't think I'll hold live music performances on Wednesdays. Presently I do shows on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday or Sunday. Maybe Thursday instead. This happened last week as well and I was lucky that the grid came up shortly after 11 PM GMT (3PM SL time ... when the performance was listed to start) so I was able to start half an hour late. I suppose I could have set a later time, but it cuts into my sleep and the noise might annoy the neighbours.Yeh, Wednesday was a bad idea

It's completely ridiculous, LL can say goodbye to any hopes they had of ever getting any more money from me if this is to continue. EVERY BLASTED UPDATE this happens, and not a one of them recently has added anything I want, yet they require almost weekly downtime, disruption to my work and everything else?

I'm happy that they're trying to improve SL all the time. It's frustrating not being able to count on anything on Wednesdays, but that's the price we pay for having SL updated so often. I would rather use a program that they try to fix bugs and have a day out of the week mainly unavailable than to use a program that never gets updated and I have to memorize a bunch of workarounds to problems in order to have a smooth experience.
Anything they can do to make the framerate better I'm all for, and that can't happen if they don't update. |
