I can’t quite understand why anyone would be opposed to the free accounts. Brongaar, made a point about “griefers” but I hardly think they are the majority in the Second Life free account community.
I started with a free account and have since upgraded to the premium account. There are things about the basic account that would deny people the opportunity to enjoy Second Life fully. I liken the free account to drug pushers who give you the first fix free…if you want to enjoy its full potential, you have to pay the price. I recommend that if you have spent that much money for Lindens, the small monthly fee would be a wise investment. What troubles me more than the people who want to see an end to the free accounts, are the number of posts in this thread that attributed nothing. People often resort to pettiness when they can’t defend their position. In the United States, we got a president elected on that same principle. How different is SL from RL after all? |

You just have to have enough money in the real world to get it in SL *wink* Hopefully you will find someplace that will help you purchase some at a decent price and be able to flourish and shop and have fun like the rest of us.
