A Mommy Just Wanting Her Baby :(

I'm currently using a service from Wish Upon A Star. This place allows women in SL to experience the beauty of pregnancy and childbirth..or so I thought.. I'm coming here to see if I can get some advice on what I should do about the owner of Wish Upon A Star not giving me the baby, that I have paid for. I have already paid in full for her service, when I first signed up. I didn't make her wait for her money, why should I have to wait for my baby? I was due to "deliver" on 2/24/06. She then notified the group that she was going to be going on vacation, starting 2/23/06. I had then asked her if I could either be delivered early, or just forget the birth and just be given my baby. She then promised me that I would be delivered -before- she left. I was never delivered. I then saw she was online and asked her if I could be delivered, she told me she would deliver me yesterday. I came online, got the baby's room all ready, then low and behold, still no baby. She told me she was still out of town and wasn't able to make the baby yet. I gave her all the specs for the baby when I first signed up, I would have thought the baby had been finished already. I'm just curious if anyone has had any problems with her service in the past or is currently having problems with her service. If you have, do you have any advice on what I can do? Seeing as I've already paid for the service, and she has not stuck with her part of the deal. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

IMO ... she should give you your money back and your Baby...
If she was going on <VACATION> She should have planned it then not taken any more new clients till after the break. Fair is fair, and this isnt fair...she didnt mind taking your money did she? She should come through and make this right.

I understand hon. I only got 5 ultrasounds when i was supposed to get 7 or 8...trying to remember. I paid up front for my service and still no word on my baby. I understand everyone deserves a break but don't take someone's money and not deliever. That is someones hard earned cash..or RL money converted to SL cash. Just wanting some fairness.

THis girl was forced to stop her Job from it and that adds up as well.. In RL Her SL husband Took a day off from work to be there for the Delivery and the Woman NEVER SHOWED UP. I'm so glad to see this. Is this a resmod impregnated child? If so, I recommend you pray to G''al and hope that he doesn't have a gray unrezzed placenta. If he does, there is no way to stop the bleeding before your client rezzes the textures. That would be sad. He's better off unborn sucking amniotic fluid and leering at his mom's vagina top down.

yes i am still waiting on my daughter from the same place and have been for the last 3 weeks and i have left her a "nice" little offline telling her i want my money back i think i can find better ways of spending 5600 L i dont know about anyone else but do not go to this place enless you just want to be ripped off by the owner

Where the fuck is your empathy? Ever consider some people can't have children RL and this may be one of their few ways of coping since maybe they'd like to? Adoption isn't a 'simple' answer.

First of all, I know that this is a game. I'm just trying to help people who might be fooled into wasting their hard earned "money" on this service. From a roleplay standpoint, this is a very big thing for my character and I don't appreciate people flaming and putting negative feedback, if I wanted the opinions from the peanut gallery I would have asked for it. I did ask for those who are having the same problem with this woman or have had problems, to come forward and assist me. I do not appreciate your belittling and insults. I just love the lack of human decency on this game. If this doesn't concern you, then don't post. I'm just helping to let people know what has been done to me, so it doesn't happen to them, with their hard earned money. Thank you.

This thread should not turn into one of personal beliefs on babies in SL. I myself have stated I think such things are strange, buts thats the great thing about SL, you dont have to care what others think. Everyone can live their dreams.

This thread should keep on topic and be about a business taking 1000's of L$ and not rendering the service. I dont believe it is against TOS to mention a business, just a particular name. Such businesses who blantantly steal money and run con-jobs deserve the negative publicity.

This creator should not have taken the money in the first place if they couldnt deliver the goods as agreed. If they had any pride in their SL business they should not only give the money back but also deliver the baby for free.
