I love them and I get weirded out when I can't see them.
Don't weird me out. Leave them in. ![]() |

Was anyone else surprised to see a thread started by Philip to inquire as to user preferences? Is it just me wondering why the ceo is doing customer surveys? i actually like the fact that the founder/ceo shows concern (even if it's a "small" item) to post along with the residents ![]() |

Right now, performance issues relative to the 1.7 upgrade are having a significant impact on many. Seeing the thread starter's name, I opened it expecting some information or insight on that front. Doing a random survey of people having issues with SL this week, do you think many would have even thought about this? Is there a relation between this feature and performance issues that I'm missing? |

Do away with them, or have them have the ability to turn them off.

After I set land or sale I sometimes use the hover tip feature to doublecheck parcels if they really went for sale and for right price. This if quicker than open ABOUT LAND on each parcel.

Personally I like the hover tips. It's a fast and easy way to see who built what without having to right-click. Since there is an option to turn them off, (which I've forgotten but did once accidentally) can't the people who find them annoying just do that rather than removing them for everyone? okay, seriously: It would probably take 20 minutes to code this, and 15 minutes would be testing it. THis isn't a hard thing: you add a couple of "if" statements and boom, you're done. DOn't get your panties in a bunch over something that's so trivial - yet so significant. I personally feel that the tool tips do indeed need a little tweaking, and I'm glad that LL is willing to fix what to me is a great annoyance. |
