Its possible to make 1000000L$ in one day, maybe not each day. maybe each day i would make betwen 4-8k, but most of tht goes into other expenses...but sure, dancing, hostsing, selling, re-selling, renting out land ect. it may take time to START making this, but after that, w00t!

As in rl, depends on how hard you work and maybe a bit of luck too.

A friend of mine Earned $L20,000 in one day with a landscaping job. I Earned $L3000 in five minutes by selling one item. In answer to your Question, Yes, it's Possible. But like every business, some days you will make money, some days you won't.

Learn the systems, (Building, scripting, Clothing design,Etc.) Find what you are Good at doing, and Do it.

One particular scripting commission earned me US$200 in three hours. It was the highest Ive ever been paid for a commission, but it *can* happen I commonly price complex commissions in the L$1000-L$2000 range. If its a commission I can put on the market, then (after negotiating w/ the commissioner of course) all the more power to me.

It is possible to make good money quickly, you just need the skills to do so.

Lots of people earn that much and more in one day. Identify something you're good at, and make a business out of it.

To use myself as an example, I sell sci fi replica avatars and clothing. There have been many, many days when I've earned well over L$2500 selling those items. I also do custom builds from time to time when I have the availability. The last one I did was a one-day job, for which I charged about L$15,000. The one before that was a larger build, which took a couple days. For that, I was paid US$200, which at today's exchange rate equals about L$75,000 if I'm doing my math right.

People tend to want to buy my SL artwork, so for me that works. If you're artistic yourself, there's no reason you couldn't do the same. If you're not though, find your own niche. If you've got programming chops, good scripts are always in high demand. If you can animate well, same deal. If you're investment savvy, you might want to try your hand at land speculating, or at playing the money market. It's risky, but those who are good at it make a fortune. If none of that appeals to you, maybe you can come up with a brand new idea no one's thought of yet.

If you really need exactly L$2500 in a hurry, and you don't want to do any of the above, you could always spend a whole US$7.88 on Lindex. Look under the cushions in your sofa and under the seats in your car. If you're like most people, you've probably got something close to that lying around in loose change.

I personally would suggest making something of lower value and selling more of them, but whatever works for you.

Of course, if you approach SL like a job the it will feel like a job. This seems pointless to me. Find what you like doing, and if you can make money too then do so.

Assuming this still isn't some very well worn joke, and actually either way it's kind of pathetic, by her own admission she does not want to be in this 'game' anyway - she is employed to be here. Only she seems to believe that her job is to simply pump forumites for information while ignoring their advice when they give it, and without lifting a finger to help herself, if the other 10 page long thread is anything to go by.

And as I said, evidently the task for the day is 'make me L$2500 a day".

Which is why I'll spend approximately zero seconds helping her, and anyone with any sense will do the same!

I've read your initial posts, and I'll have to agree with Kris. This is a very bad joke, that just got worse when you started this thread. You've been given a ton of good advice on what to do and how to play/survive Second Life, but still expect us to do your 'report' for you or whatever.

You know what? Why don't you start following those advice those good people have given you already and base your report from there. You know...actually doing research and typing reports and stuff like that yourself. I know it's a novel idea, but try it.

Oh. And copy-pasting replies in the forums doesn't count as research or an equivalent of a report. Or is that the way research/making reports is done there now?

It's doubtful this is really for a report. It's almost certain her boss has her as part of a stable of game players designed to harvest game money to convert into their local (real) currency. It's a strange phenomenon, but documented.
