Haha, places I go I see things made up of prims all over. I also think how many prims it takes to make them and what types of prims. :-[

Some of us were doing that before there was such a thing as Second Life.

LOL I know, as was I....

But until recently, I did not do so when talking to, say, my grandmother or a church minister as if it were normal conversation for them.


In fact, I just noticed on spellcheck where I had put it on a performance evaluation.....that would have been bad...

you know you've been posting or spamming on the forums too much when your post count reaches over 2000+ and you've been playing SL for less than a year or even two years.

Since this is at least the 6th time this thread has been started, I cant be the only one who has done this:

Last night, while in some kind of weird sleep state, I sat halfway up and began to type a reply to someone in my dream.

Whenever I see a nice plot of land for sale IRL, I frequently have an urge to right-click the plot to see what the price and size are.

Also, I find myself more and more annoyed these days by neighbors IRL who let weeds get out of hand in their yards instead of maintaining the default land texture like the rest of us.

You tell your child to put their toys away cuz their lagging up the house. ;p





OMG ive done that. And that IM sound is stuck in my head at times. I might even use it as a ringtone on my phone. XD I also have dreams that took place in SL. The dreams wer more realistic though, but very odd. I was trying to pawn off a can of garbage to someone i don't like. o.o it was filled with broken kids toys like plastic bats.

XD I was actually thinking of posting a similar thread today as yesterday I had an SL dream.

You know you've been mentoring too much in SL when you dream of chatting with a new arrival and commenting on how well dressed they are for their first day in game. Funny thing is, it was definitely SL in the dream, only the people were more real...

You know you've been working too hard in SL for a rush job when... you have a dream about trying to adjust the prim alignment on a toilet so it seems less prominent in your competition garden piece you just designed that for some reason, the toilet is a necessary part of.

You know you've been spending too much time in SL when you hear a dripping faucet, thinking it's a clock and stopping to wonder "Did I say time again?" looking around for the big pocketwatch your Starax wand probably just dropped on someone's head. And then once more, expecting it to drop one a few times just from typing up this post.

i say "be right back" a lot now.

Fatigue at work from having stayed up until midnight or 1 AM because you can't tear yourself away. Every morning I trudge sleepily into my office thinking, "why do I do this to myself?"

Am I the only one who hears the "typing" sound in the real world, frantically looks around to make sure I'm in-range of and close enough to hear what this imaginary person is going to say/type to me?

I hear the typing sound a lot too. There would be times i am at my PC and dont even have SL on. Yea really i do that. XD >.> I hear the sound.

One time at a doctors office i heard the typing and it was just the doctors assistant behind the desk. I sat there waiting for what she had to say. XD

You try to change your clothes simply by holding your arms out.......

You save your posts and threads so you know what they edit out before you leave for a short vacation.

When you mod yourself!

Or a Linden.

When I look in the mirror and try to right click myself to enter appearance

The following keeps happening to me lately -- ever since I started building like crazy in SL:

I try to option click objects to zoom in while I am working on a presentation/animation in Flash or Photoshop. Of course nothing happens.

Also, I keep having SL dreams. Worse yet, if I SL before bedtime, I have a REAL hard time falling asleep.

Happened to me Last weekend..

When you refuse to move off the stop line at an intersection, because clearly the other side is the next Sim and you're afraid your car will come apart.

When you have a "Sims 2" disk collecting dust. You used to be obsessed with it.

When you have zip files with textures in them, labelling the zip files by the cost in Lindens to upload the textures.

When you carry a camera to snap new textures. Everywhere.

When you replace "dollars" with "Lindens" in daily speech.

When you write a check in L$.

when you talk to your parents/friends you tell them to "Scroll up"
