Well, I personally don't understand why anyone would want to "read many of the books" but I celebrate and defend your right to read this type of literature. I think the creativity and diversity on display in Second Life is beautiful, even if some of it "isn't my bag."

The reading of the books came from a desire to understand what the hell everyone was talking about. ;) It's always best to be informed about something before condemning it.

Creativity and diversity are wonderful things... I am a great fan of both concepts. I do, however, have a hard time understanding violent sexual assault as "entertainment". That's why I don't participate in such.

I say, let people have their fun until it encroaches on the rights of others. Then I will squish them under the heel my latex studded boot while dripping hot wax on their genitals.

My God I love Second Life!

So much for the forums being PG... lol

Not happy about Linden Labs purchase of XStreet (formerly SLX) and OnRez. Will this mean LL will ban resident run online shoping outlets in favor of their own?

Agreed. I have a friend who has been known to visit the gorean sims once or twice due to friends/relations there. And honestly I don't mind the people there either (the master/slave thing unsettles me to be sure, but I can live with it). But they also seem to think that being on their property allows any sort of behavior towards others they want. She almost got captured once due to the person escorting her around not following proper regulations of the fruitcake cult or whatever.

Anywho had it gone through I would have landed on that sim like an angry war god, ban or no ban.

Or atleast that was never offered as a choice.

Speaking of choices, I wonder if this poll had been started today, how many would have voted for "Underage Users on the Maingrid" if it was a category?

Apparently, there are at least 14 people who would disagree.
