It's legal in the United States, but not in European countries, such as Germany. There are specific laws against the display of Nazi symbols and paraphenalia unless it's for historical/educational purposes. Just adding the hackenkreuz to something to make it look "kewl" doesn't count, as does using it in video games (many WW2-themed games now use the iron cross or a voided Greek cross so it can be distributed in Europe). In a way it's like the Rebel Flag from the South. Used to mean you were "a southerner" but somehow came to symbolize the KKK and all that rot. Hey! The Dukes Of Hazard had it on their car but I didnt see them being racist! And FYI- I'm from the North, not the South (yet they have gooood foood down there) Ok, thats my 2 cents. _____________________

Oh wow...why didn't I see this post before? It's so hilarious!
 It reminded me of the time when I was reading my boyfriend's New Years Resolutions. One of them had been "I will not insult or make jokes regarding paraplegics particularly Christopher Reeve," and something or other about mongoloids.
