From: Jamie Bergman As far as I'm aware, equality is not only a communistic ideal. Actually, its one of the cornerstones of our way of life (at least in the US). We're all presumed equal under the law Ha Ha.

From: Ranma Tardis The land owners next to me are real foxtrot alfas! They close the airspace of their land to me but expect to get overflight rights on my land! They got real pissed when I placed the land controls to bar them. Then I set up my security program to tp them home. My focus point or fun is flying! I cant build and have no scripting skills. In any case neither one of them is fun to me. Thus, If I can not fly the person next to me can not either! I say let him TP! An advantage is the other land owner has his land set to bar too. What do they think I am, the floor mat of SL? That I have to give way to my betters? I think not! You still have choices there are other place to fly or you could move. Instead you choose to remain angry and escallate the situation. That is your choice. I for one don't have time in SL or RL for anger.

The navigational instruments are non existent and it is difficult to fly a true course.
What do you want me to do? They started it and I am not willing to be a second class resident in second life! He said IM him for permission but he never IM me before over flight of my land! Not once!
As he said, it is my property and I do with it as my desire. He is getting a taste of his own medicine!
Oh, I have to move? This is like my childhood where the like lord and ladies foreigners strutted over my home island.

There are several sims near Busy Bens Vehicle lot where you can fly without security scripts. Thats where my partner and I go to fly our Jillicopters. It's just one place there are likely others.

From: Fizik Baskerville this is game that moves as you play...
this is a platform...
as will be evident in the coming months. A platform can also be the ledge of a 40 story building. Question is; Is there a bucket of water below the jumpers? Cat *before anyone gets offended this is a "circus" reference, not a "suicide" reference.

I have never encountered a security script or a ban zone in the color sims - I can guarantee you'll find none in Indigo, Olive, Slate, Mocha and Crimson for sure. Magenta, Maroon, Periwinkle, Purple and the others are pretty safe too! Fizik, I love when you get all cryptic, and well said Jonquille and Boliver. Jauani, the answer to your query is "to keep prices high." Regards, -Flip

There is a lake with like 20 linden sims on the eastern side of the grid. Plenty of room for flying, boating, or whatever. 60 min return time, and you can rezz at Baffin Island

From: FlipperPA Peregrine So, let's see, what can we discuss today?
-Permissions problems Ideally any new permissions system would be implemented more like chmod and chown. I hope for a folder-based permission system that displays all items in an object as well as items within items. Also, it'd be great to be able to assign full ownership rights for objects to others either by access list or ownership transfer. This would help during cooperative projects.

-ResMods Chapter 3,192 The resmods aren't the great plague upon SL as some fear. But suppose there were a problem? How could it be solved? LL could give each resident who posts in the forum one point per week. If residents see a bad resmod, they can use this point to negrate them. Nobody but LL would see these ratings. Those resmods who got extreme numbers of negrates might not be invited back. I have no doubt LL could implement this. But it wouldn't be my choice for their priority to-do list.

Although I'm a dual citizen, I've noticed a lot of UK folks tend to lump all Americans together and stereotype Americans as a cross between a money-hungry Wall Street broker and a white trash Springer guest, taking the worst charactistics from each. As a former Wall Street broker and Springer guest, I am appalled at your insensitivity! Abuse!!!
