Did the resmod who closed that thread actually say, " This thread has outlived it's usefulness and is being closed with a resmod fu roundhouse kick."
"fu" is internet jargon for fuck you. Is this the kind of behavior we should be seing from ResMods?!
Anyway, I hardly see calling someone a "moron" as a personal attack.

yes, "moron" was just an example instead of quoting every infraction within the thread. if you read the whole thing, you will notice there are several instances of name-calling that include other words besides "moron". it also wasn't only the words themselves, but the way in which they were being used harmfully against others.
i think if there were one instance using the word "moron" and nothing else, then the moderating action would have either been to ignore it and hope nothing came of it or to post a comment about not making personal attacks and encouraging posters to refrain from doing so. _____________________

Its unprofessional, crude and obviously a flip remark made by someone enjoying a power trip. Jeska...whats the rule.... what language is permitted, can a resmod tell the membership FU. I was offended by the "FU" because "FU" doesn't mean "kung-fu" to me, it's mean "F*** YOU".
So since everyone is supposed to respect everyone elses definitions of what offensive is -- like "moron" being offensive when it isn't at all offensive to me, I request that the ResMod that said "FU" be removed. But wait ... who's standard are we going by? Oh, THAT'S right... The new powerful allmight knowitalls -- the RESMODs. _____________________
