The restrictions on selling goods in SL are contained in the permissions of the object. LL has already stated it's acceptable to sell freebies.

LL's policy doesn't trump national and international law & treaty. If I retain IP rights, then I can deny permission for someone to copy my work. It doesn't matter if they are able to do it.

Maybe a better statement would be that LL has stated that they aren't going to do anything to enforce your copyright unless you make them via legal channels.

Thoughts? Comments?

Just my two cents. It makes me mad to be affiliated with an organization that this person is also affiliated with.

I'd say just let it go. No good using the forums to complain. Right?
