1.21 RC0 is available

given the number of bugs found in rc0 when should we expect the next revision to come out
(say a 3 day window)?

I for one would like to see the mono compile thing fixed (ive got a small number of objects that have the same script but i seem to need to redo the mono switch on each and every object i create (drag script from inventory (that i dragged from an object) and i see a hard crash of the script check object and the mono switch is popped)

Don't know if this has been mentioned, or if it's just me: but, the line spacing for text chat is too much! It's almost double spaced. And output now from things like the MystiTool is being fed line by line, instead of one line with commas as it is in the Release Client.

Yes I don't like the new spacing too, and on top of that chat lines now start too high on the screen, making it quite ugly to see overall. Haven't tested it yet on crowdy places but I guess screen space will be filled quite fast by chat there with no reason. Spacing was just perfect before, I just can't guess who had the idea of changing it. Nothing public has ever been said about that "problem" to my knowledge... It just looks like one of the usual "fixes" imposed from LL for the sake of something they care for, I don't know, elderly newbies maybe?

It must have some serious memory leak problem because it is not only crashing the viewer, but also other applications and the operating system too, screwing everything up royally. I just have to revert to the old version.

oh yes "my commit charge shows a non stop memory leak... from 900 commit charge to 2700 in about 15 minutes.. as well as a memory usage of well over 1,400,000K and about 87% CPU usage" thats in 15 min!

The old clent (as above and below), I am at a steady 560,00 mem usage and 38% CPU usage as well the commit charge is steady at 1300 (climbing from about 750 at start and now steady after 45 min.)

Probably tomorrow (Thursday 4th). If I remember correctly, they brought out a new RC every week for 1.20, I assume they will do the same again.

Seems a good length of time to me. Long enough to get plenty of bug reports, but short enough to ensure we don't have to put up with too many bugs for too long.

All weekend I was held up and kept out of sl because SL would not log my avi out when I DID this caused me to loose several classes i teach... which cost me money. NOW again tonight i can't log in and have a class to teach at 2 am ... HOW BOUT YOU IDIOTS PAY ME WHAT YOU HAVE STOLEN FROM ME BY NOT LETTING ME LOG IN>>>> you greedy miserly bastraps stopped paying instructors and now won't let us log in to teach for tips meager as they may be.... and yer lousy game updates for christ sake fix whats wrong before you ad new!!!!!!!

I finally bailed on RC0 last night - the frequent crashes were just too much after a getting used to 1.20 almost never crashing.. Not watchdog timer crashes either - it had definitely not locked up before crashing.

Very slow client. massive FPS loss. Seems extremely slow and inputs are delayed. memory use through the roof. have reverted back to normal version

edit: Just a thought... I wonder if he would get this angry, if I didn't do something correctly in one of his classes...
