Well, Duran Duran was supposed to open their own island about two years ago, which never seemed to materialize.
And I rather suspect that there are lots of famous people among us, but as some others have said, they're not revealing themselves because it's a way to escape the papparazzi. P2 _____________________

I had a thread awhile back where i included a link to Drew Carrey's interview about SL..he and his wife are in different parts of the US, sometimes, so they play SL and dance or whatever..I also saw an article that Sharon Stone, after she had her baby and couldnt leave her house for a while, would get on a "game platform" with some of her girlie friends and go hang out at the clubs..she didnt mention said "game platform", but I dont know any others where you can hang out at clubs..do you!!! Oh and btw im really Miss Swan!

I've met a few people on here that seemed to be a tad.. 'different'. One of which I still talk to. This person is definately wealthy beyond all means but, alas, I simply refuse to ask! I figure, if the time comes and someone trusts another to share such personal information.. Well, then it's that persons lucky day!
I'm neither wealthy nor famous, but I hope some day to write a book! lol Besides.. Look at all those DJs and SIM owners with those MASSIVE SIMs and expensive objects.. Where DO they get all that cash to start with?? Especially the new avatars.. |

It is possible, some might show who they are and some might not want to have people know who they are, like this is a place for them to escape and be themselves.
I saw on a yahoo news thing that paris hilton is on world of warcraft under the name Haris Pilton, and she makes bags. I hope she gets killed a lot and never even hears of sl. I havent met any one in the fame of paparazi and people going nuts to see them. I do know a few slightly known people. One is a model in rl and in sl and used to be a "suicide girl" close friend of mine. Another friend isnt really knon outside of sl that i know of, but he is the creator and owner of the club lucifer's nightclub which he took down because it was too much of a headache to take care of. Another I met once, lead singer of the band WWIII. I am slightly known by a number of people, but not well known. I work at a few clubs, host and dj. |
