You don't have a clothes hamper! (I gather this is a sort of washing basket type thing?)

But they are, like, the best hiding spots! everyone always looks in the cupboards or under the bed.

i used to hide in the washing basket, then once they had looked in the wardrobe, i used to move ;) cheating a bit, but its better fun.
Bit hard to hide in the basket now though...I dont fit as well as i used to...bit tall :(

Gee Claire, I'm really disappointed in you........that you would join in on the derailment.

Well, I don't know what the new resmods position is, but Strife made it pretty clear that this rule applied only to attacks and derogatory statements.

Strife has never understood this one, unfortunately. He is hopelessly confused.

Why don't you chill out. Some one made a thread about someone else just like this the other day. Didn't see you chastising them.

LOL
'I' need to chill out? You're the stalker that made a public issue about someone going on vacation for a couple of days, bro.

From: JamesMichael Morane
The thread got derailed from the start anyways.

Maybe because people didn't want to join you in speculating on this person's whereabouts.

Nah, that's not it. We have a crack crew of thread-jackers and de-railers here. No thread is complete until some gets flamed, graph expreasses his love of claire, gor and furries are discussed -- always when one is brought up, so is the other; which is very odd considering they have absolutly nothing in common; makes me want to look for a furry gorean sim; but then I digress; that is the point I'm trying to make, however, is that we never stay on topic; but then what is a topic but a chance to discuss; if Bill Clenton can debate the meaning of the word "is" why can't we talk about furry goroean childern? I mean come on, it's a free world. At least some of it is. But if you actually take a close look, nothing is free. True freedom leads to anarchy which leads to despotisim so true freedom is only freemdom for the few.

It's like there is only so much freedom in the world. You can either try to share it out equally or horde it all. But if you try to horde it, you have to take by force and protect it the same way which leaves you holded up in a fortress somewhere doing nothing but guarding your freedom that you don't have anymore. Paradoxical ain't it. The more freedom you have the less you have. Anyone in the BDSM comunity could have told you this. True freedom only comes from giving it all away.

So you're saying that this stalker guy is also BDSM? See now that sounds a lot like slander. Is there a mod in here? Someone get a mod!

Y'know I may not like that this guy is a BDSM stalker, but I'll defend 'till the end his right to be one.

Yes, but there was a time when this forum was a lot of fun but we always made sure that work was done first. It was always Resident Answers first. Since the first of the year we've seen that disappear and it's become a General Forum for the most part. Apparently that makes people happy especially since I see many of the forum regulars being the worse offenders. The mere fact that this thread and the official Trout rating thread have continually stayed at the top while threads with peoples questions get moved to the bottom is a very, very sad sign IMO.

I guess times change, but this time it's not for the better, IMO. I really miss Lana, because she is the one who most convinced me of what I've just said.

Sorry to rain on anyones parade. Just really miss the old days when I could confidently refer someone to the forums.

Would be nice if they opened a General Forum.

Or even just reopen the one they closed.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Part of the problem, once again, is that we don't have a moderator. We use to have these fun silly threads but we'd get just enough fun in before they were locked and that kept them from getting out of control.

I think that ..

With the current level of moderation simply opening a general forum would largely solve it. As long as the questions remained in Resident Answers that is.

The flame wars here are pretty minor as the internet goes.

I agree. The flame wars, etc are pretty nonexistent compared to most sites. Mainly I'd like to see moderation to keep things clean, as I suggested earlier. I know there's some that don't want to see any moderation and if we had a General Forum they may be right.

TeeJay, I hardly think that asking if anyone has seen a particular person who frequented this forum quite a bit, and who was a friend, as stalking. If it had turned out that people had seen her, inworld or here, then I would have realized that it was me whom she did not want to speak with anymore. Had I then tried to pursue her, then that would have been stalking. There is a big difference.

As far as I can see, everyone else here was just having derailment fun here - you were the only one that got belligerent with me, and it was totally uncalled for.

Have a nice day.

Bradley, TeeJay is the one who started the flaming....the very thing his precious forum rules are against. Everyone else was having fun. I don't know TeeJay, probably a nice guy, but he is trying to be the self appointed mod here in this thread yet he's flaming, and I don't appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I have to admit I made the stalking accusation first.

If you read back I said that flame wars were pretty rare here. Sure they happen, but not often. I'm more concerned about the threads that are about silliness and having fun. I'm all for it, but it seems are priorities here have shifted from "helping others first" and then having fun to "the opposite.

There's a huge group in RA now that never post a helpful response to people but only partake in the silliness. With no General Forum and no moderator to look over this one, it has sadly evolved into a General Forum. That's not the way it use to be back a short time ago.
