So, no humping on Mature Mainland beaches, for example. I'm not entirely sure this was ever really permitted, but I know (don't ask  ) it was not uncommon in the past. Is outdoor nudity OK on private mature land, if there is no sexual behavior involved? In other words, can I still go skinny dipping in my own lake on my own mature parcel? It seems that "Your World, Your Imagination" is becoming "LL's world, keep your imagination on a leash."  |

Actually, assuming what Lindens have said unofficially is valid, then this in fact *is* okay. They very often make a firm distinction between nudity and sex, and have said nudity is okay on Mature land. (Just not "photorealistic" nudity, which they claim has nothing to do with photorealistic skins, but only images that are indistinguishable from RL photography. The fact that good photorealistic skins are produced by projecting RL nude photos onto the surface of the avatar mesh seems not to qualify, for no obvious reason.) |

Also, I'm not quite so sanguine about the future rules on Mature Mainland. It's certainly true that LL doesn't want to police the Mainland, they do have rules, and they've just made them more restrictive, and hence subject to more ARs. They could adjust those rules at any time. They'll still be ineffective, of course, but for that "more predictable experience" of not being permabanned, one might choose to obey the rules anyway. Hey back, Qie! I don't know where you hang out on the mainland, but where I am, I never see other residents and I've never seen a Linden. I'm not doing any cybering personally, but I highly doubt the folks who are will ever have to worry about an AR. Anyone who obeys the rules for fear of being banned is paranoid, IMO.

My advice? While you can - get one of those free hoverboards from the infohub(s). They are awesome. There is one for full size and one for tiny avs. They are made for Zindra. They are a LOT of fun...(there are still some places you can rez there, but you gotta find 'em.) |

Right now LL dont have any real competition so they can do what they want. Unitl thier customers turn off the money tap or move on elsewhere. LL has no incentive to stop changing the ToS,land rules or pricing.
