On your op, you're showing your stupidity by picking on one person simply because they're asking questions you feel they should or already know. Are you serious? Who are you to judge anyone here much less try to put them down like you did the person you're referring to? Not only this person but others who ask questions about tringo and such?
If you're going to be my numero uno fan you can't post dumb things like this, ok? How will that reflect on me you being my #1 fan?
As for me, you're no challenge and I'll post what I feel unlike you who post ridiculous comments about others simply because you don't like them asking questions.
But although you're a knucklehead I do have good news for you. You can continue to keep tabs on me and I'll always recognize you as my number one fan. But no more bitching about others, ok?

*sigh* Chas posted in haste, may have been on his way to apologizing (cf the 'cheesecake' post) when we all piled on to defend the rights of anyone to ask a question, stupid or not. Which, as several have pointed out. is so obvious as to hardly need pointing out.
Forums, not just these but any forums, are partially about spontaneity. So Chas had a bad post. SURPRISE!!! God knows I probably have a hundred of them by now.
Point made, we hated it, can we move on?

I think the person who *truly* abuses this place will be few and far between. The vast majority of people don't want to ask a *stupid question* and so are silent. I've been here 2 years now and I STILL learn things here. SL is amazingly deep and complex, for we non-IT folks.

I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun along the way from derailed threads that could, perhaps, be answered with a simple yes or no. But I must admit to to feeling slightly miffed (putting it very gently) at a new breed of poster who seem to believe that this forum is here to answer any radom question at all that pops into their, apparently rather empty, heads. They have no intention of checking other sources of information before they ask and, besides that, the majority of their questions don't actually belong in this section of the forum. Chaos is bad, I know, but we now have someone who over the past few days has posed these singularly challenging questions: Collar hmmm? Slot machines? Is this possible? Red on minimap? Spam for buying L$? Group land, how does it affect tier? Amethyst tattle TOS? Piggybank? Circular landing? To ban or not to ban? Which AR is responded to the fastest? Perhaps I'm being hard, but it strikes me that this person knew the answers to many of these questions. After all, how many two-month old newbies have a substantial amount of land, are fairly accomplished builders (I took a peak), have a business and a family of mistresses and pets. And why do we have to have questions that really belong in any number of forums except this one? Are we here to help people choose which collar to wear, or how to script a nonsensical piggybank? Okiphia, what's the game? Oh, and where's Bigwig? I miss him I actually just now read this post sorry.... any questions I ask, I relly truly don't know an answer to at that time... the circular landing was just a brain fart and figured it out, post edited so that it oculd be easily buried... And most of the ones you named I don't see how they belong in another forum honestly... group land,, red on minimap.. actually almost all. THe collar *could* belong in products wanted, but I didn't just want to knnow of the collars, I wanted to know differences, kinda a comparison, so I felt it belonged here. You have to reason to apologize to anyone here and much less to and because of some idiot who bitches about someone simply because they're asking questions.
