What is the Mosh Monorail station, exactly? (O.o)

I've opined about Mosh's fate elsewhere in this thread, but I don't think it's been mentioned that the parceling around the Ortiz infohub is not exactly conducive to development.

The whole of Ortiz and Gilda are Protected Land, so any resident land will be some remove from the hub.

The nearest reasonably sized parcel, an 8192, is claimed and built. There's an unclaimed 14,336 across the street there that might make a sensible location for a commercial build to feed from the infoHub--but it will be outside of draw distance for many folks at the hub. On the other side of the river, also outside drawing range for many, it's unclaimed 512s as far as the eye can see; they could be claimed and reparceled, of course. Still, nothing is close enough to be obvious to everybody at the infohub. Indeed, given the riverbank terrain, it's as if the infohub were designed so that most people would see the river and not much else.

Can we all calm down a bit? I'd like to keep this thread on the topic of the oddities I've observed during the transfer.

I just read the transcript of today's meeting on the Slapt Wiki. Basically the questions in regards to the 400M parcels were completely ignored by Blondin. Though, people did pose concern about land barons picking up parcels and not placing any Adult content. The response given by Blondin indicates what will be available to purchase AFTER the swap period.



The thing is, the questions were in regards to flippers and barons picking up land NOW. The responses just add to the bizarreness of the monorail station. Really... The lights are on but nobody's home. (O.o)

Back to topic: I have to wonder if this was a case of one hand not knowing what the other was doing, and offering a space or spaces without realizing that another team had plans in places for that station? Stranger things have happened.

All we can do is try. I think all we accomplished is to alert them that we are onto them. While Blondin stalls, they will assign all of the parcels and make it a non-issue in their eyes.

Since CS said they were available to anyone during the swap - anyone willing to modify their ticket and add one of these parcels to it should do so now.
