In other words you don't dare use voice either. I can understand. I can definitely read between the lines.

You made a wrong turn somewhere. VoiceBowl XXXVIII is down the page a bit.

From what I can gather, you're correct it seems.

Truthfully the time I enjoy myself the most is when I'm just hanging with my friends.

Seeing someone else using/wearing something you've made. Never gets old!

I enjoy spending time with my friends.

I enjoy creating stuff.

I enjoy having other people enjoy the stuff I've created.

These are the things that make me really happy in SL.

1. Doing something silly with friends to the point that I laugh so hard that my stomach hurts. We did this with bumper cars recently.

2. Walking around Virtual Starry Night. It's where I go when I need to relax and unwind. I love Vincents art and I rarely walk through that museum without tears coming to my eyes.

I am so glad the OP started this thread. I love so many things about SL - I can tell you that the 6 IM's via my email inbox this morning did a lot to cheer me today. These 6 people bought creations of mine and took the time out of their day to send me an IM thanking me for my creations. (wow you give me your money and thank me for doing so? wow!) I find creating art with the content I make in SL immensely satisfying. In RL I am a professional 2d fantasy artist. I license my work for products blah blah blah, it's boring. It doesn't inspire me anymore and it can be an absolute bloodsport at times. I've been so disillusioned with it this past year I have gone on a sabbatical and devoted my work days to building a business and community in SL instead. What an amazing community the whole of SL in general is. The craptastic low-lifes here are far outnumbered by the huge number of friendly, generous and ridiculously talented people. The art I have created in SL has been work I am hugely proud of - I have learned so much - and met amazing people full of the true spirit of collaborative creation. I came from a world full of competition and jealously and entered one that has welcomed me and guided me and humbled me. I hope I can return the favor someday. SL's community makes me happy - and the ability to create here makes me happy. And this thread makes me happy.

/me does the happy happy joy joy dance

hugs all around

What really makes me happy is finding a new player out in the wild and helping them learn all the little things that make up SL and are not covered on the newbie islands. Show them some freebie ares. Give them a free AO (and explain what AO means, how to use etc). Then i take them to a Gorian sim and sell them in the slave market :)

JUST KIDDING!!!

I don't really give them an AO.

1. my husband/partner..sigh...even tho we walk our own paths in SL independently alot of the time, when we do spend time together..magic. He creates beauty wherever he goes.

2. The ART!! i am curator of Angel Dorei Museum and finding and meeting artists has been wonderful - big props to Elros Tumeinen, Cheen Pitney, Cali, Josie, Jazz Calhern, Gracie Kendal, Ro Gastel, Elorien Ayres, Treb Larkham, Annelies Fratica, Taelea Takashi, Starey Oh, Esch, Filthy, Shoshana, ..i better stop now lol...

3. LIVE music - from Elfay Pinkdot's Coffee & Pajamas Jazz show at Circe Broom's Sunset Jazz to the live musicians i have fallen in love with - Mash Rhode, Cylindrian Rutabaga, Aisha Yao to name a few

4. exploring - there is so much to do, to see. i love finding things like scripted food and drink that talks to you as you consume, cat couches, scripted surfboards, dragons, great dances, stepping stones that emit butterflies and dragon flies..etc etc etc

5. friends. amazing friends from all over the planet.
